This position is in support of our Analysis Integrated Program Office (IPA) customer, where our team provides engineering services to assist the team in defining the to-be architecture, decomposing capabilities into solution/program epics, documenting and prioritizing the development baseline, integrating new customers and sources as required, and working with the development vendor to achieve the planned baseline. While we primarily support the IPA leadership team, we also provide services to the various projects dealing with intelligence and geospatial analysis capabilities provided to the intelligence community. Areas that our team is involved with include: Structured Observation Management Services, Analytic Modernization Services, Exploitation Services, Orchestration Services, Advanced Geospatial Services, as well as requirements, architecture, and integration with a number of sensor-related programs.\nPrimary Duties include:\nGuides the planning, analysis/traceability of user requirements, architectures traceability, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review cloud service capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.\nAssists the Government in the capture and translation of mission and customer requirements/needs into systems/capability requirements and solutions.\nCoordinates between Government Program Manager customer and DevOps teams utilizing Agile methodologies, Scrum and Agile Planning Tools.\nSupports the analyses and allocation of requirements to systems architecture components and executing programs.\nAssists the Government in performing systems integration activities, strategic technical planning, project management, performance engineering, risk management and interface design.\nSecondary Duties include:\nOperates at the level of integrating multiple systems, services, processes, and interfaces within a Major Systems Acquisitions across organizational and agency boundaries.\nGuides Mid-level and Junior-level system engineers performing requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, services development, integration, test and evaluation, maintainability and analysis across the National System of Geospatial-intelligence (NSG), Allied System of Geospatial-intelligence (ASG) and Federal Agencies.\nConducts Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs), Course of Actions (CoAs), Trade Studies, and Engineering Assessments.\nRequired:\nBachelor’s degree or higher in Systems Engineering or in related technical or scientific fields such as engineering, physics, mathematics, operations research, engineering management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program.\n12 years of experience as a Systems Engineer may be considered in lieu of a degree.\nTS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a poly\n12 years of experience in government or industry in relevant work areas including: DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process or system engineering of large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture/Cloud environments.\nExperience with and strong understanding of systems engineering lifecycle.\nDemonstrated knowledge of the current NSG/ASG and NRO enterprises.\nExperience with Agile development processes and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)\nDesired:\nExperience engineering solutions using Cloud Based Technology such as: Service Orientated Architecture (SOA), On-demand self-service, Broad network access, Resource pooling, Rapid elasticity, Measured Service, Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).\nExperience engineering solutions using structured and unstructured Big Data.\nExperience engineering solutions using Automation, Augmentation and Artificial Intelligence technologies.\nExperience in Geospatial-Intelligence Analysis systems, tools and processes. eg.
