Allen Motor Group is an English motor retailer selling and servicing new and used cars, vans and pickups for Ford, Kia, Hyundai, Suzuki, MAXUS and OMODA JAECOO, alongside Ford Transit Centres and Parts Plus trade parts centres. Rooted in Allen Ford, a family Ford dealer for over a century that Super Group acquired in 2014, it added Essex Auto Group and SMC Motor Group in 2017 and runs more than 30 sites from Bath through the Midlands, Berkshire and London to Kent and Essex. It hires sales advisors, vehicle and master technicians, service managers, parts telesales and warehouse staff, and business development executives.

Allen Motor Group are currently looking to recruit a Senior Vehicle Technician to join our Ford dealership in Gravesend.

This position is offered on a full-time working contract of 46.33 hours a week paying £37,200 with and an OTE of £46,000 reporting to the Aftersales Manager. Our average Senior Technician earnings were £46,000 last year, with our higher performing technicians earning on average £58,000!

We're so confident about your earnings that we offer a guarantee for your first three months - you'll earn a minimum of£3666.66 per month (£44,000 pa, gross). If you earn more, we'll pay you more!

As a vehicle technician you’ll have some key tasks and activities within your area of responsibility:

  • Provide technical and diagnostic service ensuring customer satisfaction and productivity targets are met and exceeded

  • Maintain the highest level of technical knowledge and ensure compliance with manufacturer training

  • Uphold company and manufacturer quality standards

  • Ensure 100% compliance with vehicle health check processes

Required Skills & Experience

To be considered for the position you will need to possess a relevant formal qualification (City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3) as a minimum. We are looking for individuals who possess the following attributes & skills:

  • A full UK driving licence

  • Experience of inspection, repair and servicing motor vehicles

  • MOT Tester qualification would be highly beneficial

  • Fantastic verbal and written English skills

  • Previous experience working in a franchised dealership (preferred but not essential)
