The Senior Engineer/Designer will work independently on multiple concurrent projects, both in design and construction, and be responsible for the preparation of contract documents and specifications for complex building systems. This encompasses advanced calculations, systems analysis, quality control of finished projects, and field/construction coordination activities.\nResponsibilities\nPerform full design of HVAC systems, including full equipment selection, for medium to large commercial projects\nAnalyze system options and evaluate existing systems where appropriate.\nCoordinate all aspects of project document completion within A+S and externally with clients.\nComplete full design in accordance with code. Production is performed using AutoCAD & Revit depending on preference of architect.\nWrite specifications.\nProvide bid and construction phase services including reviewing bids, answering RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, participating in project walk-throughs, and providing field observation reports.\nMust be proficient in a variety of HVAC systems and shall be considered a technical expert and resource to the office.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or Architectural Engineering with a Mechanical focus)\nAt least 10 years of relevant experience\nAutoCAD & Revit
