As we continue to grow, we only look for the best in the industry.\nJob responsibilities:\nSupervise daily warehouse and ramp operations, including receiving, sorting, and dispatching of cargo. \nEnsure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. \nCoordinate with team members to meet deadlines and operational goals. \nTrain and mentor warehouse staff to foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement. \nConduct regular inventory checks and ensure proper documentation of cargo movements. \nMonitor and maintain warehouse equipment and infrastructure. \nCommunicate effectively with other departments to ensure seamless cargo handling and delivery. \nInvestigate and promptly resolve operational issues or discrepancies. \nPrepare operational reports and updates for management. \nPromote a positive and productive work environment by recognizing team contributions. \nRamp Duties: Load and unload cargo from aircraft, ensure correct placement, and secure cargo in accordance with weight and size regulations.\nWarehouse Duties: Receive, inspect, and store cargo, ensuring proper documentation, labeling, and compliance with security standards.\nHandle cargo in a timely, efficient manner to meet flight schedules and operational needs.\nFollow safety and security protocols during cargo handling operations.\nMaintain accurate records of cargo movements, shipments, and inventory in both ramp and warehouse settings.\nCollaborate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth, coordinated operations.\nSafety, Security and Compliance:\nAll AGI team members have a responsibility and duty while at work to:\nTake reasonable care for the health, wellbeing, safety, and security of themselves and of others who may be affected by their actions or omissions while at work. \nCooperate with their manager/supervisor to ensure compliance with any legal requirements imposed on the company. \nReport any hazards, near misses, incidents, accidents, or dangerous occurrences to their manager/supervisor, who will then follow the procedures outlined in company policies. \nCarry out work in accordance with information and training provided and any specific safety or security rules or procedures. \nFully understand AGI’s Health, Safety, and Security policies. \nAttend training courses as required by AGI. \nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods in a warehouse environment. \nAbility to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. \nComfortable working in varying temperatures and weather conditions. \nFlexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. \nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:\nStrong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and safety standards. \nExcellent leadership and team management skills. \nEffective communication skills for coordinating with teams and stakeholders. \nAttention to detail and strong organizational abilities. \nProficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and related tools. \nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in logistics preferred. \nMinimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, with supervisory experience preferred. \nIf work location is in the United States, must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
