Staged equipment is prepared for shipping.\n· Assist with loading and unloading of trucks and trailers and preps them for delivery of equipment/parts.\n· Operates forklift truck, pallet jack and other equipment in a safe manner. Following all safety and security procedures. Spots for forklift drivers to keep people out of fall danger zones.\n· Maintains equipment inventory levels of current and incoming equipment/parts. Expected to notify the Manager of new arrivals.\n· Collaborates and maintains the warehouse in a clean and orderly manner. Some anticipated task are to sweep warehouse floor and empty rolling trash dumpster, among others.\n· Effectively communicate top level escalations to Manager.\n· Contributes to best practices and process improvement.\n· Performs other related, incidental, and similar duties including interdepartmental projects as required.\nWarehouse Clerk II (Commerce, CA) (Above plus)\n· Records and updates receipts orders/shipments into Sage x3. Responsible for receiving small shipments into the system (FedEx, UPS deliveries) and ensuring the product received matches our purchase orders.\n· Responsible for completing all invoices for the daily outgoing shipments. Confirms and verifies vendors and/or clients' shipment invoices\nPOSITION TITLE: Warehouse Clerk DEPARTMENT: NA Commercial: Direct Distribution\nREPORTS TO (TITLE):\nWarehouse/ Operations Manager\n*Upon office hierarchy REVIEW DATE: Feb 2024\nFLSA STATUS:\nNon-Exempt LOCATION: Various locations, US\n· Responsible for submitting installation requests to the appropriate installers while maintaining the Installation logs up to date.\n· Responsible for verifying all installation invoices are submitted to the accounting department accordingly.\n· Ensure all batches have been closed and distribute end of day paperwork to appropriate departments.\n· Maintains equipment inventory levels of current and incoming equipment/parts. Expected to allocate parts/equipment when they are in-stock and notify the Warehouse Manager of new arrivals.\n· Serves as back up to the Warehouse Clerk I.\nQualifications\nEducation & Experience:\n· High School diploma or equivalent required.\n· For Warehouse Clerk level 1:\no 6 months to 1 year of work experience working at a parts department preferred. Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.\n· For Warehouse Clerk 2:\no 2+ years of work experience working at a parts department preferred. Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.\n· Experience in telephone and email/ticketing system-based customer support preferred.\n· Proficient computer skills including using MS Outlook, Word, and Excel preferred.\n· Experience operating equipment including forklift truck and pallet jack required. A valid state motor vehicle operator's permit for operation of forklift truck might be required.\nSkills and Abilities:\n· Strong Technical Acumen; Ability to read and understand packaging, shipping documents, and safety guidelines.\n· Solid organizational skills and detail-oriented; Ability to self-manage workload and multiple projects simultaneously while managing and meeting deadlines.\n· Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; Communicate effectively and professionally across all levels of the organization while maintaining a positive and enthusiastic demeanor.\n· Resilient; Able to confidently navigate ambiguity and change.\n· Strong work ethic; Self-starter, demonstrating a proactive approach, self-initiative, and tenacity.\nStandard and Physical Requirements:\n· Position involves sitting long periods, standing, manual dexterity, stooping, bending.\n· Position requires the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. frequently. For greater weight items assistive devices will be provided.\n· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls.
