Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced MEP Site Extra Low Voltage (ELV) Electrical Engineer to oversee and manage the on-site installation of ELV systems across our projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that all ELV works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Site Management
Supervise on-site installation of ELV systems, ensuring compliance with approved designs, specifications, and safety standards
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress and installation quality
Coordination & Collaboration
Coordinate with electrical and mechanical engineers, architects, consultants, and subcontractors for effective integration of ELV systems
Attend project meetings and provide technical updates and progress reports
Technical Support
Provide technical guidance and support to site teams related to ELV system installations
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues during installation and commissioning
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate records including daily site logs, inspection reports, and material usage
Prepare progress reports and highlight any delays or deviations from the project schedule
Quality Control & Testing
Implement quality assurance and quality control procedures in line with project requirements
Conduct testing, commissioning, and final inspections of ELV systems prior to project handover
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Engineer handling ELV systems within the MEP industry
Strong knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations
Experience Requirements:
Required System Experience
Hands-on experience with the following ELV systems is mandatory:
Fire Alarm Systems
CCTV & Surveillance Systems
Access Control Systems
Building Management Systems (BMS)
Public Address Systems
Data & Structured Cabling Networks
Audio-Visual Systems, including Interpretation Systems
Key Skills
Strong technical expertise in ELV systems and components
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Proficiency in electrical design and analysis software
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
