Examples of the applications supported include Anti-Money Laundering and Customer Screening, Trade Surveillance, Compliance Management, Audit Management, Error and Incident Tracking (Risk), Vendor Management, MFN Machine, Compliance Review Tracker, Daily Restricted List, Compliance Video Training, Electronic Communication Governance, Personal Trade Surveillance and Document Management System.\nRole Description\nThe Business Analyst is a key role for our firm providing business analysis and product management services specifically for our Anti-Money-Laundering (Oracle’s OFSAA Transaction Monitoring and Customer Screening), Trade Surveillance (ACA ComplianceAlpha), Compliance Task Management (ACA ComplianceAlpha), Employee Trade Compliance (StarCompliance). The Candidate will be responsible for collecting and documenting business requirements, working with internal development teams, managing product and project lifecycles, managing relevant technology vendor relationships, and will serve as the subject matter expert for all applications he/she is responsible for. This Candidate will work closely with business users across Compliance and the firm, and will interact with internal Technology teams to implement, enhance, and maintain systems and processes.\nKey job responsibilities include, but are not limited to\nServe as a Business Analyst / Product Owner for Legal and Compliance focused on AML, Trade Surveillance, Compliance Task Management and Employee Trade Compliance.\nPartner w/ senior stakeholders across business, IT, data & quality assurance teams to define enterprise technology solutions & workflow strategy.\nCoordinating and managing offshore teams to provide timely updates and deliverables to global business stakeholders.\nConduct business analysis by analyzing complex problems & designing system solutions.\nCapture business requirements & translate them into IT & system specifications.\nImprove business processes using tools including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Co-Pilot, Visio, JIRA, Confluence, SQL Database, and other AI Tools.\nResearch, plan and execute projects including acquisition, upgrading and maintenance of software and services. The scope of the projects could include both the development of new software and significant enhancements/changes to existing software.\nManage third party vendor system implementations as well as in-house systems and ensure timely and effective project delivery.\nTrack all ongoing projects and communicate their status in a timely manner to stakeholders.\nDevelop and manage centralized plan for deliveries based on the business’ need.\nIdentify and actively manage risks. Ensure the appropriate technology controls are in place.\nVendor management of vendor applications. The Candidate will also have exposure to business and other technology groups for future career opportunities.\nJob Qualifications (The ideal candidate should have the following)\nQualifications, Experience, Education\nMinimum 5 years of Business Analysis and Project/Product Management experience.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related area.\n3 years of focus in Financial Services Compliance related technology.\n3 years of Financial Industry experience.\nExperience working with AML technology required.\nExperience working with Trade Surveillance technology preferred.\nExperience managing offshore and global teams.\nCommunication: Speak and write English clearly.
