Through high-quality research and a broad range of investment solutions, we serve institutional, individual and private wealth clients across major markets worldwide.\nOur ambition is simple: to be our clients’ most valued asset-management partner.\nDescribe the role:\nJob Title: AVP - Investments Research Data & Analytics\nGroup Description:\nInvestments Research Data & Analytics team is known for developing cutting edge solutions by keeping quantitative and systematic approach at the center.\nSpecific Responsibilities:\nLead a team of analysts and act as a point of contact for the pod for swift request resolutions from the portfolio management teams and / or SMEs\nCollaborate with the Portfolio Solutions Technology team to ensure (statistical) data quality controls for quantitative research.\nInnovate and implement alternative methods for data transformation and cleansing for various data sources.\nTimely production, validation, investigations and correction of periodic and ad-hoc risk and performance attribution reporting\nCorrelate data, identify exceptions, and construct refined datasets for research and investment processes.\nDevelop and enhance quantitative data quality frameworks using statistical programming\nDevelop python solutions to analyze the correlation between model inputs and outputs to measure the quality of its signals.\nDevelop and optimize SQL queries, including performance tuning.\nCreate and optimize the Bloomberg PORT reports for thorough analysis, better portfolio picturization and capturing the anomalies.\nDevelop new test cases to perform quality control based on various investment and risk parameters, enhancing the robustness of existing frameworks.\nWhat makes this role unique or interesting (if applicable)?\nThe role offers a unique blend of business and technology exposure to the candidate and the ability to execute the activities with end-to-end ownership with a blend of agentic AI developments with cutting edge tools like Cursor.\nQualifications, Experience, Education:\n7+ years of experience in Investment / Risk Management domain with at least 2 years of managing / mentoring the high performing teams (Techo-functional team leaders are welcome).\nIn-depth understanding of Financial Theory, Portfolio Management Concepts, Market Risk measures and various financial instruments (vanilla and exotics).\nProven ability to lead the team of analysts and mentor them for timely execution of the tasks and prioritize the critical deliverables\nSolid hands-on experience with Bloomberg PORT ecosystem (or any equivalent widely used analytics platforms at large scale asset managers) and the terminal with the ability to design new analytics, reports and batches as well as setting up the modelling terms and conditions of the securities\nIntermediate level development skills in Python and SQL; however, a good grasp of data modelling and data dependencies of investments, portfolio and security level data\nExcellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate business problem statements and developed solutions.\nExceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nDemonstrated ability and willingness to quickly learn new technologies and platforms. Any prior experience with agentic AI development would be a strong plus\nProactive attitude with the ability to take initiative with minimal supervision.\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in quantitative discipline like Engineering.
