Institutional Client Relations Associate

Who You’ll Work With:

This role supports the coverage of Taiwan institutional clients, with an initial focus on offshore investment solutions and progressive development toward broader institutional sales responsibilities, including potential involvement in Taiwan mandates over time. The candidate will work closely with Sales, Business Development, Product, and Investment teams to deliver high-quality client engagement, relationship management, sales execution, and internal coordination.

This role will report to the Manager, Client Relations, Asia ex-Japan, Client Group who is based in Hong Kong and this role will be based in Taipei.

What You’ll Do:

Offshore Product Sales

• Support positioning and distribution of offshore investment solutions including fixed income and multi-asset
• Assist in preparing and delivering product presentations
• Respond to client queries on performance and positioning

Internal Coordination

• Work closely with Senior Advisors, Client Service team, Portfolio Managers (PMs) and Portfolio Management Groups (PMGs), Product Specialists, Legal, Compliance, and Operations
• Coordinate timely response to client requests and ensure alignment across investment, sales, and support teams

Client Coverage & Relationship Support

• Support day-to-day coverage of Taiwan institutional clients including insurance companies, pension funds, banks and asset managers
• Participate in client meetings, portfolio reviews, and follow-ups
• Build understanding of client portfolios and investment objectives

RFP, Pitch & Sales Execution

• Prepare pitchbooks, presentations, and RFP/RFI responses
• Utilize Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, including Copilot) to deliver high-quality materials efficiently
• Support pipeline tracking and internal reporting

Market Intelligence & Sales Support

• Monitor Taiwan institutional market developments and competitor trends
• Support preparation for client meetings and strategic discussions

Team Collaboration

• Build strong working relationships across Taiwan and regional Asia ex-Japan teams
• Contribute to a collaborative, execution-focused team environment

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 2 years in institutional sales, client service or product specialist roles within asset management, banking or insurance
• Eligibility to meet Taiwan KYP registration requirements, including any required securities and investment-related licensing and professional examinations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple deliverables and timelines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word; familiarity with Copilot is a plus
• Basic understanding of asset allocation, fixed income, equity, alternatives and multi-asset strategies
• Fluent in English and Mandarin (spoken and written)
