Working alongside experienced engineers and project teams, you'll contribute to planning, engineering, and project development activities while building expertise in wind generation and other utility-scale energy projects.\nThis role offers hands-on experience across multiple phases of project development and execution, providing opportunities to solve technical challenges, collaborate with diverse teams, and contribute to projects that support Alliant Energy's clean energy future.\n What you will do\nFollows procedures to maintain a safe work environment. \nAnalyze problems and recommend possible solutions; seeks guidance from peers and mentors to ensure satisfactory outcomes. \nUses critical thinking skills and understanding of technical standards to provide cost-effective solutions to a specific problem. \nDemonstrates an understanding of customer and business needs and implements the appropriate workable solution to problems based on given budgetary and schedule constraints while appropriately applying policy and code requirements. \nWith supervisor guidance makes medium risk decisions that involve direct application of technical knowledge. \nHas established effective working relationships with employees, contractors, customers, functional groups, and internal and external peers. \nAccurately prepares detailed documents such as technical studies and project documentation for future reference. \nAccesses project financial reports to ensure Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) compliance and review costs being charged to projects.
