Responsible for negotiating data receipt, processing raw data, analyzing trends, visualizing data in the form of charts and graphs and communicating results via formal written presentation to client.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES \nServes as a data visualization subject matter expert by translating data into consumable charts and graphs within project assignments and individual ad-hoc Service Team/Consultant work.\nDevelops methodologies and techniques to identify, analyze and track important data metrics regarding items such as plan design trends, claims utilization patterns, diagnosis patterns, and other financial and marketing indicators.\nMaintains applicable knowledge of internal staff and external vendor solutions to address client opportunities;\nOffers prescriptive solutions to internal and external clients that address identified opportunities.\nProvides methods and measurements to determine and track effectiveness of implemented solutions as well as corrective solutions where relevant.\nServes as an internal subject matter expert on the reporting tools and metrics employed, ensuring that reporting is an integral part of business development and client services.\nDevelops new analytics initiatives based on market trends, client demands and innovative thinking;\nProvides thought leadership on the strategic direction of Alliant's data analytics service based on a comprehensive understanding of market trends and solutions, Alliant's client base and their needs and emerging evidence of future needs as seen through analysis of data.\nCreates client analysis document deliverables by enhancing existing content with supporting data. Recommends and supports the implementation of new content topics based on analysis findings.\nResponsible for the effectiveness, relevance and timeliness of Alliant's data analytics work product to all customers, internal and external.\nProvides strategic guidance and recommendations for individual client data warehouse RFPs; Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information).\nCreates and monitors client key performance indicators to assess performance and identify opportunities for client engagement. Recommends new standard metrics when applicable.\nProvides recruitment and overall management support for all functions of the data management team.\nResponsible for the data warehouse and analytical practice of deliverable quality assurance.\nNegotiates receipt of client data for analysis with clients and external vendors and partners.\nComplies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information).\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS \nEDUCATION / EXPERIENCE\nBachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in technical/science field of study\nSeven (7) or more years of related work experience.\nSignificant experience with database management, including comfort with coding/scripting in SQL\nAdvance level knowledge of statistics including a thorough understanding of linear regression analysis techniques, time series analysis, significance testing and confidence intervals.\nRequired experience with end-user data analytics software such as PowerBI, Tableau, or other similar.\nRequired experience with healthcare data analysis and reporting.\nRequired experience leading teams and large project management\nValid Insurance License\nMust obtain and maintain valid insurance license (or must be obtained within 90 days of employment)\n\nSKILLS\nExcellent verbal and written
