In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that business applications across Distribution, Investment & Operations, and Business Enablement are ready for Day 1 and that the post-close migration is planned and delivered in a controlled manner. Working across Investment, Distribution, Data, Technology, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Finance, HR and country teams, the role establishes a complete view of the application landscape, defines the appropriate treatment for each application, and provides clear readiness, dependency and risk reporting to programme governance.\n\nThe Applications Integration Lead is accountable for leading the application workstream for a multi-country M&A separation and migration programme.\n\nWhat you do\n\nBuild the authoritative application inventory covering business and technology owners, hosting, key interfaces, data dependencies, criticality and country usage.\nAgree each application’s Day 1 treatment: standalone operation, TSA-supported service, migration or retirement.\nConfirm Day 1 application requirements for each in-scope country, addressing local regulatory, operational resilience and business continuity requirements.\nCoordinate with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Data, Information Security and Outsourcing on data, access, licensing, retention, privacy and third-party service considerations.\nDevelop and manage the post-close application migration roadmap, aligning with target architecture, cloud migration, TSA exit milestones and business priorities.\nLead application scoping and design workshops with internal stakeholders, counterpart teams and service providers, turning decisions into actions and deliverables with clear owners.\nIdentify, track and resolve cross-workstream dependencies across infrastructure, identity and access, data migration, end-user technology, testing, cutover and operational support.\nMaintain the workstream plan, decision log, assumptions, risks, issues and dependencies, with clear owners and escalation routes.\nDefine readiness criteria and coordinate testing, cutover, hypercare and service transition for a controlled Day 1 and subsequent migrations.\nReport concise, evidence-based updates to programme governance and the steering committee on readiness, required decisions, delivery risks and mitigations.\nOwn key deliverables: application inventory, Day 1 readiness checklist, migration roadmap, dependency and risk tracker, and regular governance updates.\n\nWhat you bring\n\n6 years+ of relevant technology delivery experience, including leadership of application or technology products.\nStrong understanding of asset management business processes and applications.\nStrong stakeholder management and facilitation skills across functions and regions.\nSound understanding of application architecture, hosting models, interfaces, data flows, cloud migration and service transition. \nStrong planning, decision-making and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively through ambiguity, evolving scope and competing priorities.\nHigh standards of integrity, risk awareness and delivery discipline in a regulated environment.\nAI skills: Microsoft CoPilot, Artificial Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence Ethics, Generative AI/ GenAI\n\n What we offer\n\nBalanced work environment: A dynamic office culture that supports flexibility and collaboration\nSecure your future: Access to pension, retirement, and/or savings plans as applicable to the work location\nShared success: Company share purchasing plan\nSupport for what matters: Mental health and wellbeing programs\nInvestments in your career: Career opportunities within the entire Allianz Group\nInvestments in your skills: Comprehensive learning and development offerings, including certifications and professional qualifications\n… and so much more!\n\nAbout Allianz Global Investors \n\nAllianz Global Investors is a leading active asset manager, managing assets for individuals, families, and institutions worldwide.
