Ensure completeness and timeliness of all regional reporting;\nEnsure accurate and timely filing and reports to regulatory bodies;\nPrepare and ensure completeness and accuracy of management reports;\nHandle tax-related matters including tax estimate, tax computation and other tax matters and liase with tax agent on tax compliance matters and resolve tax issues;\nPreparation of interim and annual financial statements;\nPrepare quarterly reports for Bursa Malaysia, annual report and analyst briefing deck;\nDealing with auditors on audit process and resolve audit findings, accounting and audit issues;\nIdentify and explore ways in improving efficiency and accuracy of reporting deliverables;\nEnsure accuracy of monthly management reports and presentation materials to senior management, regional office, board and board committes;\nMonitor and analyse financial performance against budgets, highlight significant deviations and recommending corrective actions to improve performance;\nParticipate in finance activities to assess new accounting standards and regulatory requirements in terms of financial impact;\nKeep abreast with the relevant regulations, guidelines, and reporting requirements issued by regulatory bodies and ensure compliance;\nTo be actively involved in discussion, preparation and analysis work for statutory returns particularly on MFRS 17 and MFRS 9;\nAny other ad-hoc function assigned by the Management.\nKey Requirements\nMust possess at least Degree in Accountancy/ Professional Qualifications (ACCA, CPA, etc.) or other equivalent professional qualifications in Accountancy\nAt least 5 year(s) of working experience in related field. Candidates with audit experience are strongly encouraged to apply\nInsurance industry experience will be an added advantage;\nHigh proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge and experience in SAP and MicroStrategy are preferred\nHave a strong sense of commitment, teamwork, good interpersonal, communication & stakeholder management skills.
