The role partners with product owners, business stakeholders, and technology teams to translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and testable acceptance criteria. Ensures process efficiency, requirement clarity, and seamless delivery across Agile environments and the SDLC.\nExperience 5-10+ years of hands-on Business Analysis experience.Experience in large financial services or insurance organizations.Proven delivery within Agile/Scrum frameworks.Strong background in requirement elicitation, process modeling, and gap/impact analysis.\nKey Responsibilities Plan and conduct requirement elicitation via workshops, interviews, and data analysis.Produce BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, and process maps.Perform gap analysis, impact assessments, and feasibility studies; identify dependencies and risks.Ensure end-to-end traceability across SDLC: requirements → design → build → test → release.Facilitate Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives).Collaborate with QA to define test scenarios and support UAT planning, execution, and defect triage.Partner with architects and engineers to clarify functional and non-functional requirements.Create and maintain SOPs, process documentation, and knowledge artifacts.Drive continuous improvement and quantify business outcomes (e.g., cycle-time reduction).\nRequired Technical Skills Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas).Expertise in Visio (BPMN), JIRA, Confluence; familiarity with requirements management tools.Ability to interpret and use SQL for data validation and analysis.Understanding of system integrations, APIs, and data flows.Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile/Scrum practices, and documentation standards.\nGood-to-Have Skills Insurance lifecycle knowledge (Policy, Claims, Underwriting).Exposure to financial services platforms and regulatory context.Data visualization (Power BI/Tableau) and basic statistics.\nSoft Skills & Behaviors Exceptional written and verbal communication; business-friendly documentation.Analytical and structured problem-solving; attention to detail.Stakeholder management across business, product, engineering, and QA.Ownership mindset, adaptability, and collaboration\nGood to have\nHaving a basic understanding or exposure to AI tools would be a plus.\nFamiliarity with basic AI tools is considered an advantage.\nBasic knowledge or experience with AI tools will be beneficial.\nExposure to AI tools, even at a basic level, is a value-add.\nA fundamental grasp of AI tools will be an added benefit.\nYour benefits:We offer a hybrid work model which recognizes the value of striking a balance between in-person collaboration and remote working incl. up to 25 days per year working from abroadWe believe in rewarding performance and our compensation and benefits package includes a company bonus scheme, pension, employee shares program and multiple employee discounts (details vary by location)From career development and digital learning programs to international career mobility, we offer lifelong learning for our employees worldwide and an environment where innovation, delivery and empowerment are fosteredFlexible working, health and wellbeing offers (including healthcare and parental leave benefits) support to balance family and career and help our people return from career breaks with experience that nothing else can teachAbout Allianz Technology Allianz Technology is the global IT service provider for Allianz and delivers IT solutions that drive the digitalization of the Group.
