Working closely with brokers and internal stakeholders, you will deliver strong underwriting outcomes, excellent service, and sustainable growth across the account.\nYou will support the development of a world-class, multi-niche Insurance & Engineering offering, contributing to ambitious regional growth targets.\nLocation: This role is based in either of our Birmingham or Bristol offices, please note that this is a hybrid working role with the expectation that you attend the office 2-3 days per week.\nSalary Information\nPay: Circa £40,000 per year.\nPay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.\nAbout You\nManage and retain an existing Construction portfolio, delivering timely, accurate and profitable renewal terms\nAssess and price risk in line with Allianz appetite and underwriting strategy\nBuild and maintain strong broker and client relationships through regular engagement\nNegotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with brokers to secure sustainable business\nContribute to regional underwriting strategy and key business initiatives\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders including Claims, Operations, and Risk teams\nRepresent Allianz positively in the market, attending broker and client meetings\nEssential Skills\nExperience in construction underwriting, including casualty/liability covers\nStrong understanding of existing business and renewals\nConfident communicator, comfortable engaging with brokers and negotiating outcomes\nAnalytical mindset with the ability to assess complex risks and market conditions\nCommercial awareness with a focus on profitable growth and retention\nSelf-motivated team player with the ability to support and mentor others\nDesirable Skills\n\nProactive and driven with a strong focus on personal and professional development\nAbility to take initiative and contribute positively within a team environment\nResponsible Artificial Intelligence usage\nWhat We Will Offer You\nRecognised and rewarded for a job well done, we have a range of flexible benefits for you to choose from- so you can pick a package that’s perfect for you.
