You own the key architecture dimensions for this platform landscape, from target architecture through to governance, risk and compliance. In this role, you are reporting directly into the Allianz Technology Head of Enterprise Architecture.\nWhat you do\nEstablish and maintain a close, strategic connect between the core insurance backbone platforms provided by Allianz Technology and the Enterprise Architecture team.\nInterface directly with (lead) area architects and their architecture organizations across Retail P&C and mid-corp (retail/claims), (digital) sales and marketing, commercial, life and health platforms.\nOwn and drive the target architecture for the core insurance platform landscape.\nPrepare and steer architecture decision making and governance, including ARB, DAB and GAB decisions.\nOwn architecture risk management for the platforms in scope, making risks transparent and driving mitigation.\nDrive standardization and harmonization as well as modernization and decommissioning across the platform portfolio.\nEnsure architecture documentation, compliance and adherence to Allianz architecture standards and guidelines.\nWhat you bring\nDeep enterprise and solution architecture expertise in core insurance platforms (P&C, life and/or health), with a proven track record of shaping target architectures at group or global scale.\nDemonstrated ability to drive architecture governance and decision making in a large, federated organization - influencing senior stakeholders and architecture communities without direct reporting lines.\nStrong experience in platform modernization, harmonization and legacy decommissioning, including the associated architecture risk management.\nBasic knowledge of AI technology, principles, and their practical use.\n10+ years of experience in IT architecture roles, several of them in a global or multi-entity insurance environment.\nUniversity degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a comparable field.\nWhat we offer\nWe offer a hybrid work model which recognizes the value of striking a balance between in-person collaboration and remote working incl. up to 25 days per year working from abroad.\nWe believe in rewarding performance and our compensation and benefits package includes a company bonus scheme, pension, employee shares program and multiple employee discounts (details vary by location).\nFrom career development and digital learning programs to international career mobility, we offer lifelong learning for our employees worldwide and an environment where innovation, delivery and empowerment are fostered.\nFlexible working, health and wellbeing offers (including healthcare and parental leave benefits) support to balance family and career and help our people return from career breaks with experience that nothing else can teach.\n About Allianz Technology\nWith its headquarters in Munich, Germany, Allianz Technology is Allianz's global IT service provider and delivers IT solutions that drive the group's digitalization.
