We shape it.\nRole Overview:\nIn this role, you will join the Finance team of Allianz Services, the global platform supporting and improving operations for Allianz entities. The position focuses on accounting tasks, including coordinating and performing monthly closing activities, as well as supporting risk assessments, control testing, and mitigation plans.\nYou will collaborate with key departments, near- and offshore teams, and the central team in Munich. As part of this matrix structure, you will have a solid reporting line to local management and a dotted line to the central manager.\nThis role offers a dynamic environment with opportunities to contribute ideas to improve processes and controls. Responsibilities include accounting topics such as asset accounting, provisions, capitalization, and closing procedures under both IFRS and Spanish GAAP, along with risk management and internal control system implementation.\nAs part of a global team, you will work with various Allianz teams, apply best practices, and contribute your expertise while participating in international projects and processes.\nWhat you do:\nPrepares, records, analyzes, and reports accounting transactions, ensuring the integrity, completeness, and compliance of accounting records in line with established policies and frameworks defined by Finance & Tax.\nPerforms general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance, and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements (e.g., balance sheets, profit and loss, and CAPEX reports). \nSupports the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual closings in accordance with applicable regulations (Spanish GAAP and IFRS).\nProvides functional support and performs testing for relevant SAP FI modules.\nMaintains and manages key financial data, including accounts and cost classifications.\nOversees accounts payable and receivable processes, including interaction with suppliers.\nWhat you bring:\nStrong academic background (e.g., in quantitative fields, Economics, or Business Administration).\nAdvanced level of English, both written and spoken.\nPrior exposure to the accounting domain through internships, student projects, or part-time work is considered an advantage.\nAbility to work effectively in an international and global environment.\nStrong communication and intercultural skills.\nWhat we offer:\nWe offer a hybrid work model which recognizes the value of striking a balance between in-person collaboration and remote working incl. up to 25 days per year working from abroad.\nWe believe in rewarding performance and our compensation and benefits package includes a company bonus scheme, pension, employee shares program and multiple employee discounts (details vary by location).\nFrom career development and digital learning programs to international career mobility, we offer lifelong learning for our employees worldwide and an environment where innovation, delivery and empowerment are fostered.\nFlexible working, health and wellbeing offers (including healthcare and parental leave benefits) support to balance family and career and help our people return from career breaks with experience that nothing else can teach.\nAbout Allianz\nAllianz Group is one of the most trusted insurance and asset management companies in the world.
