We shape it.\nRole Overview\nThe Functional Enablement Manager is the Global Owner of Functional Enablement at Allianz Services. The role is accountable for Internal Audit processes, methodology, tools, data analytics, and AI enablement across Allianz Services. The position drives the continuous evolution of audit practices, supports the Global Audit Universe, and promotes innovation through data-driven and AI-enabled audit approaches.\nWhat you do\nDrive the definition, implementation, and continuous improvement of Internal Audit methodologies, processes, standards, templates, and tools across Allianz Services.\nOwn and maintain the Audit Universe (AU), supporting risk assessment, audit planning, and annual planning activities.\nAct as the center of competence for audit tools, analytics, and operational reporting, ensuring consistency and efficiency across the function.\nDevelop and promote data analytics and AI capabilities to enhance risk identification, control assessment, audit coverage, and audit effectiveness.\nRoll-out and maintain AI-enabled solutions and emerging technologies to improve audit execution, knowledge management, reporting, and quality assurance.\nDefine and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), providing global reporting and meaningful insights to management and stakeholders.\nSupport audit teams with advanced analytical techniques, data visualizations, dashboards, and innovative audit methodologies.\nShape the future of Internal Audit by establishing functional rules, fostering innovation, and driving a culture of continuous improvement and digital transformation.\nWhat you bring\nStrong understanding of Internal Audit Standards, Methodology, Risk Management, and Internal Control frameworks.\nProven experience in audit transformation, process improvement, or functional enablement within an audit, risk, or control environment.\nSolid knowledge of data analytics concepts, including data extraction, analysis, visualization, data quality assessment, and reporting.\nFamiliarity with AI technologies and their practical application in audit, risk management, governance, or business processes.\nExperience with analytical and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or similar technologies is highly beneficial.\nAbility to translate complex analytical insights into practical and actionable recommendations for business and audit stakeholders.\nStrong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to influence across a global organization.\nAgile mindset, curiosity, and commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and professional development.\nWe highly welcome candidates with a genuine interest and affinity for Information Technology (IT) and Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), as these attributes are considered valuable assets to our team.\nQualifications & Experience:\nUniversity degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, IT, or a comparable field.\nExperience of 3-5 years in internal audit, risk management, controls, audit methodology, audit transformation, or functional enablement.\nKnowledge of data analytics, AI-enabled audit approaches, and digital audit tools.\nProfessional audit certifications (CPA, CIA, CISA) and Allianz Group experience are advantageous.\nExcellent command of written and spoken English.\nWhat we offer\nWe offer a hybrid work model which recognizes the value of striking a balance between in-person collaboration and remote working incl. up to 25 days per year working from abroad\nWe believe in rewarding performance and our compensation and benefits package includes a company bonus scheme, pension, employee shares program and multiple employee discounts (details vary by location)\nFrom career development and digital learning programs to international career mobility, we offer lifelong learning for our employees worldwide and an environment where innovation, delivery and empowerment are fostered\nFlexible working, health and wellbeing offers (including healthcare and parental leave benefits) support to balance family and career and help our people return from career breaks with experience that nothing else can teach.\nAllianz Group is one of the most trusted insurance and asset management companies in the world.
