We shape it.\nRole Overview:\nWe are looking for an experienced IS Solution Architect - Workplace Security to drive the design, governance, and evolution of secure workplace solutions across Spain and Portugal. The role combines deep technical expertise with strong security governance capabilities and focuses on protecting endpoints, identities, collaboration platforms, and corporate data while enabling a modern, compliant, and user-centric workplace environment.\nWhat you do:\nDefine and maintain Workplace Security Architecture standards, principles, and reference architectures; drive Zero Trust adoption across workplace technologies and services.\nDesign secure solutions for endpoint protection, device management, and remote access; govern security controls across Microsoft 365, collaboration platforms, and workplace services.\nEnsure secure integration of identity services including Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access, and SSO; lead data protection initiatives including DLP and Information Protection.\nDevelop and maintain workplace security policies, standards, and technical baselines; support risk assessments, exception management, and architecture review processes.\nAct as trusted security advisor to IT, Architecture, Risk, and Business teams; present security architectures, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership.\nWhat you bring:\n5+ years of experience in Workplace Security, Endpoint Security, EUC Security, or Information Security Architecture.\nProven experience designing enterprise-scale workplace security solutions, preferably in large, multi-country environments.\nStrong knowledge of Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne (EDR/XDR); Microsoft Intune and UEM/MDM solutions; Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, MFA, Conditional Access; Microsoft 365 Security, Purview, DLP, Defender for Office 365.\nExperience with Zero Trust, SASE, SSE, and secure remote access architectures; Vulnerability Management, Patch Management, and Application Control.\nExperience with Security Governance, Architecture Review Boards, Risk Management, and Policy Development; familiarity with DORA, NIS2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls, and GDPR.\nFluent English (mandatory); Spanish and/or Portuguese highly preferred.\nPreferred: CISSP, CCSP, TOGAF, SABSA or equivalent certifications; Microsoft Security Certifications (SC-300, MD-102, MS-102); experience in Financial Services, Insurance, or highly regulated industries.\nWe highly welcome candidates with a genuine interest and affinity for Information Technology (IT) and Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), as these attributes are considered valuable assets to our team.\nWhat we offer:\nWe offer a hybrid work model which recognizes the value of striking a balance between in-person collaboration and remote working incl. up to 25 days per year working from abroad\nWe believe in rewarding performance and our compensation and benefits package includes a company bonus scheme, pension, employee shares program and multiple employee discounts (details vary by location)\nFrom career development and digital learning programs to international career mobility, we offer lifelong learning for our employees worldwide and an environment where innovation, delivery and empowerment are fostered\nFlexible working, health and wellbeing offers (including healthcare and parental leave benefits) support to balance family and career and help our people return from career breaks with experience that nothing else can teach\nAbout Allianz\nAllianz Group is one of the most trusted insurance and asset management companies in the world.
