We shape it.\nRole Overview:\nThe IT Economics department, is responsible for planning, reporting and steering Allianz Group’s IT Spend and ensuring alignment with the broader Operations & IT Strategy. The team ensures that IT investments deliver measurable value while supporting productivity, growth and financial targets.\nAs an IT Product Owner, you will own the Program Management tool WAVE by McKinsey, which holds the leading project master data and financial reporting figures (Plan, Actuals and Forecast) and KPIs for several Operating Entities (OEs). You will drive platform which is used for the planning, reporting, steering and benefits management, working closely with ITE Managers, Group Finance, Group Business Areas and Allianz Technology.\nAdditionally, the new PO will support and back up SAP IP (SAP Integrated Planning) topics as needed, ensuring continuity and coverage across both platforms.\nKey responsibilities / You will get to:\nRun the application, handle ad hoc requests and drive change\nAlign needed changes with business, prioritize them (backlog mgt) and drive development with developers\nSecure an in time & quality delivery of changes and drive respective user communication\nDrive standardization of workflows, reporting structures, and governance processes within the application\nManage all activities required to plan, report and steer IT Spend (change & run) and corresponding benefits.\nIdentify critical issues early, perform root-cause analyses and drive corrective actions.\nMonitor the IT Change Project Portfolio, including major Group IT programs, covering financials, scope, delivery, risks and dependencies.\nEnable effective collaboration between OEs, H4 and Allianz Technology as the shared services provider.\nContinuously improve IT Change Spend Management processes (definitions, data provisioning, quality checks, standards).\nKey requirements / What we hope you bring:\nAcademic degree (Master’s/Diploma) in IT, Economics or Business Administration.\nPractical experience with project management frameworks (PMI, PRINCE2 and/or SAFe), ideally certified.\nExcellent MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.\nStrong experience with SAP Integrated Planning and ServiceNow.\nKnowledge of VBA and Power BI is an advantage.\nVery good English (written and spoken); additional languages welcome.\nPreferred Qualifications / Experience:\nSenior profile with Product Owner experience in SAAS platforms (Allianz experience preferred), additionally SAP BW & IP\nE2E knowledge of running an application and driving changes\n Strong expertise in IT and Operations, with a clear grasp of how they align financially and strategically Proven knowledge of IT project portfolio management principles and practices\nHigh business maturity with proven ability to work effectively with C-level stakeholders (COO, CTO).\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to translate complex financial topics for non-finance stakeholders.\nSelf-driven mindset, strong communicational assets & willingness/ability to drive topics in responsibility\nTeam spirit and collaborative attitude\nCuriosity, continuous learning and willingness to challenge and improve processes.\nWhat we offer:\nWe offer a hybrid work model which recognizes the value of striking a balance between in-person collaboration and remote working incl. up to 25 days per year working from abroad.\nWe believe in rewarding performance and our compensation and benefits package includes a company bonus scheme, pension, employee shares program and multiple employee discounts (details vary by location).\nFrom career development and digital learning programs to international career mobility, we offer lifelong learning for our employees worldwide and an environment where innovation, delivery and empowerment are fostered.\nFlexible working, health and wellbeing offers (including healthcare and parental leave benefits) support to balance family and career and help our people return from career breaks with experience that nothing else can teach.\n*We highly welcome candidates with a genuine interest and affinity for Information Technology (IT) and Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), as these attributes are considered valuable assets to our team.*\n107389 | Product Management | Professional | Allianz Services | Full-Time | Permanent\nAllianz Group is one of the most trusted insurance and asset management companies in the world.
