Job Purpose Role

At Allianz Direct, we are building a digital, data-driven, and people-centric organization, where People & Culture plays a critical role in enabling business performance and transformation.

We are looking for a People Partner who will act as a trusted advisor to the business, combining hands-on execution with a solid understanding of organizational needs. This role offers a broad and cross-functional scope across the employee lifecycle, with a particular focus on talent acquisition, culture, and organizational effectiveness.

Working closely with business leaders, you will support both operational and strategic people topics, ensuring pragmatic and high-quality HR solutions aligned with business priorities. This role combines a broad HR generalist perspective, overseeing key people processes within the assigned business area, including recruitment, learning and development, talent management, and compensation & benefits.

In parallel, you will contribute to building and reinforcing a high-performance culture, translating employee feedback and engagement insights into focused, actionable initiatives.

You will also support a more data-driven approach to HR, leveraging tools such as SuccessFactors and exploring the use of AI and digital solutions to improve decision-making and process efficiency.

This is a role for someone who enjoys working close to the business, is comfortable navigating different HR topics, and is motivated by having a tangible impact on both people experience and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with business leaders as a trusted advisor, supporting day-to-day people decisions and longer-term organizational priorities
  • Drive and implement key P&C processes across the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, performance, development, and engagement
  • Take an active role in recruitment, managing end-to-end hiring processes for selected roles and ensuring a strong candidate experience
  • Support and strengthen a high-performance culture, translating engagement insights and feedback into pragmatic actions
  • Use available data and insights (e.g., attrition, performance, engagement) to inform decisions and identify trends, ensuring a practical and business-oriented approach
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of HR data in SuccessFactors, contributing to reliable reporting and decision-making
  • Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to simplify processes and apply digital tools and AI where relevant

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner / People Partner, ideally in fast-paced or insurance environments
  • Broad HR perspective covering culture, engagement, talent, and analytics
  • Hands-on experience with SuccessFactors
  • Strong data mindset with the ability to translate insights into action
  • Interest and practical exposure to AI in HR
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Fluent in English

What We Offer

  • A role with direct impact on business performance and culture
  • An international, digital, and fast-evolving environment
  • High exposure to senior stakeholders
  • Autonomy and real influence
  • Flexible working model
