You will be also the contact person for agents and/or brokers working with the Property Team.\nKey Responsibilities\n\nEnsure underwriters comply with underwriting authority, pricing and rating guidelines.\nSteer and control the portfolio at local level in conjunction with the Head of Property to drive the achievement of financial targets.\nProactively liaise with functional areas to review performance of end-to-end underwriting life cycle.\nWork closely with Sales departments, Risk Consulting, Claims and other product lines to achieve key marketing strategies, including cross-selling.\nEnsure underwriting consistency and underwriting discipline and adherence to all corporate guidelines and authority levels, including Rules and Principles, Underwriting Authorities, corporate governance rules and local regulatory framework.\nProactively support the development and implementation of new and/or modified products\nSupport the acquisition of new business and retention of existing business (including agent and broker negotiations)\nCommunicate local business strategy externally\n Key Requirements/Skills/Experience Degree in Engineering or Economics or Law or equivalent Experience\n\nAt least 3 proven experience in underwriting profitable Property business for Corporate Clients both PD/BI and Theft\nPreference if also experienced in Multinational clients as well as knowledge in Liability.\nExpertise in risk assessment and a firm understanding of policy administration life cycle.\nSound knowledge of pricing, together with strong market analysis skills\nIdeally experience in designing, developing, and implementing consistent and robust wordings\nIdeally experience in driving underwriting projects\nEntrepreneurial mindset\nStrong communication skills\nAble to work in an international organization.\nFluent in Italian and English (both written and spoken)\nData Reporting\nVery good knowledge in Office 365 and other collaborative tools\nPursuant to Article 5(1) of Legislative Decree No. 96 of 7 May 2026, as amended and supplemented from time to time, the range applicable to the position offered is between € 45.000 gross and € 55.000 gross.\nEmployment will be subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the National Collective Labor Agreement for Insurance Companies and the applicable Company Agreement.\nThe final determination of the starting remuneration will be based on an evaluation of the candidate’s qualifications, skills, and relevant experience in relation to the requirements of the role.\nAllianz Group is one of the most trusted insurance and asset management companies in the world.
