Our underwriters are also able to deploy significant capacity on a global scale.\nThe Impact You Will Have\nReporting to the Regional Head of Liability, you will underwrite profitable new and renewal business to meet the Line of Business targets in the Nordic Region and in accordance with underwriting guidelines and underwriting authority. You will negotiate terms and conditions and take ownership of your own key clients as well as develop and maintain strong relationships with our broking and client partners in coordination with our distribution/client relationship team.\nSome of your specific responsibilities could include:\nUnderwrite new and renewal accounts to meet top and bottom line targets.\nNegotiate participation, pricing and terms and conditions with brokers.\nProactively manage exposure and capacity.\nProactively support acquisition of new business and retention of existing business\nProactively liaise with Market Management & Distribution on market management initiatives.\nPositively represent Allianz Commercial externally to the market.\nDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key brokers and clients and other relevant stakeholders.\nWhat You’ll Bring to the Role\nPreferably a degree in Law, Business Administration or Economics or other appropriate discipline.\nSignificant experience in underwriting profitable business in the Liability market in the Nordic Region.\nRecognized relationships with brokers at peer group level and well established within market.\nGood understanding of regional/local Liability insurance markets and competitor landscape, including global elements.\nAbility to assess risk inherent exposures and natural hazards relevant to the line of business.\nAbility to analyse current performance against benchmarks applying how the market operates and functions, the business needs and customer needs.\nAbility to design, develop and implement consistent, robust wordings.\nExcellent understanding of policy administration life cycle, information collection, policy issuance, premium bookings, credit control, cancellation.\nExcellent analytical skills.\nExcellent communication skills and ability to create relationships and communicate clearly at all levels and with a wide range of people.\nAbility to influence and motivate others to act, without executive authority.\nAbility to integrate AI-driven insights into your work to optimize outcomes and support broader organizational goals.\nFluency in English and Swedish is required. Working proficiency in any other Nordic languages is a plus.\nFor Sweden, the base salary range for this position is between SEK 720,000 and SEK 960,000 . The specific salary offered considers:\nthe requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,\nthe applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.\nThe annualized represents a market range and will also be determined by the location of the role.
