Your role will combine strategic thinking with hands-on involvement, ensuring that solutions - particularly mobile-driven ones - are secure, high-performing, and future-ready.\nYou will also contribute to the evolution of our technology landscape, including cloud-native and AI-enabled architectures, helping Allianz innovate at scale while maintaining the highest quality standards.\nYou will lead a distributed architecture team spanning multiple countries, cultures, and organizations - including third-party technology partners - and act as the architectural authority for the program, driving alignment and decision quality across teams.\nWhat you do\nDesign and develop comprehensive IT solutions with a strong focus on mobile application architectures (native or cross-platform)\nCollaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of project objectives\nCreate architectural designs and documentation, ensuring scalability, performance, and security\nLead the integration of mobile applications with backend and cloud services, ensuring seamless interoperability\nLead and coordinate a distributed, multi-organization architecture team, ensuring effective planning, organization, and prioritization of workload.\n\nRepresent the architecture team in governance forums and build strong influence across stakeholders without formal authority.\n\nEvaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance solution capabilities, especially in the mobile space\nEnsure compliance with industry standards and best practices in architecture and design\nParticipate in the development of IT strategies and roadmaps to support business growth\nContribute to architectures integrating LLM APIs, RAG pipelines, and AI components where relevant\nWhat you bring\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)\nProven experience as a Solution Architect, Mobile Architect, or similar role\nProven experience in mobile application architecture, either native (iOS/Android) or cross-platform (e.g. Flutter)\nStrong understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns\nExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud\nProficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#\nStrong knowledge of mobile application lifecycle, design patterns, and integration with backend services\nExperience with DevOps practices and tools\nExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment\nStrong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders\nExperience presenting to and obtaining approval from architecture governance bodies. \nStrong leadership and influencing skills without formal authorit. \nDemonstrated experience leading architecture practices across distributed, cross-cultural, and organizational teams.\nGood knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use (as a plus)\nWhat we offer\nWe offer a hybrid work model which recognizes the value of striking a balance between in-person collaboration and remote working incl. up to 25 days per year working from abroad.\nWe believe in rewarding performance and our compensation and benefits package includes a company bonus scheme, pension, employee shares program and multiple employee discounts (details vary by location).\nFrom career development and digital learning programs to international career mobility, we offer lifelong learning for our employees worldwide and an environment where innovation, delivery and empowerment are fostered.\nFlexible working, health and wellbeing offers (including healthcare and parental leave benefits) support to balance family and career and help our people return from career breaks with experience that nothing else can teach.\nAbout Allianz Technology\nWith its headquarters in Munich, Germany, Allianz Technology is Allianz's global IT service provider and delivers IT solutions that drive the group's digitalization.
