It supports accounting, reporting, analytics, and future data-driven finance capabilities across Allianz entities.\nAs a Technical Product Owner, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering Finance Data Pool products and capabilities. You will act as the bridge between Finance business stakeholders and technology teams, translating business requirements into technical solutions that can be implemented efficiently and sustainably.\nYou will work closely with Finance experts, Business Analysts, Data Engineers, Architects, SAP specialists, and Testing teams to ensure business requirements are transformed into high-quality products that deliver value and support Allianz's finance transformation journey.\nThis role combines product ownership, functional leadership, and technical understanding. It requires someone who is comfortable discussing finance processes with business stakeholders and technical implementation details with engineering teams.\nWhat you do\nOwn Product Delivery\nDrive the delivery of Finance Data Pool capabilities from idea through implementation and release.\n\nManage and prioritize the product backlog in alignment with business objectives and strategic priorities.\n\nDefine and maintain product roadmaps together with business stakeholders and technology teams.\n\nEnsure product increments deliver measurable business value.\n\nTranslate Business Needs into Technical Solutions\nCollaborate with Finance stakeholders and Business Analysts to understand and refine requirements.\n\nConvert business requirements into clear technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.\n\nEnsure requirements are understood consistently across all delivery teams.\n\nAct as the primary functional and technical counterpart for development teams during implementation.\n\nLead Functional Solution Design\nDefine functional processes, data requirements, transformation logic, and integration needs.\n\nChallenge and improve requirements to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions.\n\nSupport architecture and design discussions from a product perspective.\n\nEnsure consistency and standardization across Finance Data Pool products and solutions.\n\nSupport Agile Delivery\nLead refinement sessions and backlog discussions.\n\nProvide guidance and clarification throughout implementation.\n\nSupport sprint planning, demonstrations, and release activities.\n\nManage dependencies, risks, and delivery challenges across multiple teams.\n\nEnsure Quality and Business Readiness\nWork closely with testing teams to define testing scope and acceptance criteria.\n\nSupport integration testing, user acceptance testing, and production deployments.\n\nValidate that delivered capabilities meet business expectations and quality standards.\n\nEnsure business readiness and stakeholder adoption.\n\nEngage Stakeholders\nBuild trusted relationships with Finance, Accounting, Reporting, and Technology stakeholders.\n\nFacilitate discussions between business and technical teams.\n\nCommunicate priorities, decisions, and implementation impacts effectively.\n\nSupport rollout and adoption activities across Allianz entities.\n\nWhat you bring\nEssential Experience\nSeveral years of experience as a Technical Product Owner, Solution Architect, Lead Engineer or similar role.\n\nStrong understanding of Finance processes and finance data.\n\nProven experience translating business requirements into technical specifications.\n\nExperience working with Agile delivery teams and product-based delivery models.\n\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills.\n\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.\n\nFinance & SAP Knowledge\nStrong understanding of finance business processes and data structures.\n\nUnderstanding of accounting, reporting, and financial data integration processes.\n\nAbility to bridge Finance business concepts and technical implementation.\n\nTechnical Background\nUnderstanding of modern data platforms, data integration, and analytics environments.\n\nExperience working with data engineering teams and data products.\n\nKnowledge of data modelling, data warehousing, and integration patterns.\n\nUnderstanding of APIs, ETL/ELT processes, and enterprise data architectures.\n\nFamiliarity with cloud-based data environments and DevOps practices.\n\nWhat we offer\nWe offer a hybrid work model which recognizes the value of striking a balance between in-person collaboration and remote working incl. up to 25 days per year working from abroad.\nWe believe in rewarding performance and our compensation and benefits package includes a company bonus scheme, pension, employee shares program and multiple employee discounts (details vary by location).\nFrom career development and digital learning programs to international career mobility, we offer lifelong learning for our employees worldwide and an environment where innovation, delivery and empowerment are fostered.\nFlexible working, health and wellbeing offers (including healthcare and parental leave benefits) support to balance family and career and help our people return from career breaks with experience that nothing else can teach.\n About Allianz Technology\nWith its headquarters in Munich, Germany, Allianz Technology is Allianz's global IT service provider and delivers IT solutions that drive the group's digitalization.
