With strong ties to the Group, you will also support the local strategy to ensure the successful achievement of the Allianz Mid Corporate targets. You will be also the contact person for agents and/or brokers working with the Liability Team.\nKey Responsibilities\nEnsure underwriters comply with underwriting authority, pricing and rating guidelines.\n\nSteer and control the portfolio at local level in conjunction with the Head of Liability to drive the achievement of financial targets.\n\nProactively liaise with functional areas to review performance of end to end underwriting life cycle.\n\nWork closely with Sales departments, Risk Consulting, Claims and other product lines to achieve key marketing strategies, including cross-selling.\n\nEnsure underwriting consistency and underwriting discipline and adherence to all corporate guidelines and authority levels, including Rules and Principles, Underwriting Authorities, corporate governance rules and local regulatory framework.\n\nProactively support the development and implementation of new and/or modified products.\n\nSupport the acquisition of new business and retention of existing business (including agent and broker negotiations).\n\nCommunicate local business strategy externally.\n\nKey Requirements/Skills/Experience\nDegree in Law or Economics or other appropriate discipline.\n\nAt least 3 to 5 years' proven experience in underwriting profitable Liability business for corporate clients.\n\nIdeally, experienced in PI / D&O / Cyber Risks / Legal Expenses as well as in Multinational Clients/Programs.\n\nExpertise in risk assessment and a firm understanding of policy administration life cycle.\n\nSound knowledge of pricing, together with strong market analysis skills.\n\nIdeally, experience in designing, developing, and implementing consistent and robust wordings.\n\nIdeally, experience in driving underwriting projects.\n\nSolid leadership skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.\n\nStrong communication skills.\n\nData analytics skills.\n\nAbility to work in an international matrix organization.\n\nFluent English and Spanish language skills.\n\nVery good knowledge in Office 365 and other collaborative tools, with a willingness to learn and explore how AI can enhance your role and the broader organization.\n\nFor Spain, the base salary range for this position is between € 51000 and € 68000. The specific salary offered considers:\nthe requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,\nthe applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.\nThe annualized represents a market range and will also be determined by the location of the role. In the situation where you do not meet all the job requirements or you significantly exceed these, the offered salary may be below or above the advertised range.
