Manager directs the night to night aspects of operations, ensuring the highest level of customer service from the warehouse to customers while improving productivity through continuous improvement in fill rate, throughput and cost.\nResponsibilities\nPlanning:\n- Ability to identify and plan for staffing requirements based on knowledge of warehousing and distribution operations.\n- Has the ability to make decisions based on experience in shipping, receiving and inventory control.\n- Ensures that procedures and processes match requirements of the operation.\n- Capability to train and implement new technology and processes while maintaining productivity.\nBuilding an Inclusive Culture:\n- Individual and collective accountability, reward and recognition programs, communication designed to develop the frontline employees and build a desirable place to work.\nContinuous Improvement:\n- Development and Implementation with the management team and frontline of correct standard operating procedures and performance-based metrics in order to drive results through continuous improvement programs such as lean six sigma\nCollaboration:\n- Partnering with Night and Day operation manager, delivery and Maintenance functions to identify areas of opportunities for improvements to fill rate, throughput, and reduction of cost.\nSafety:\n- Direct programs to ensure the safety of all personnel, equipment and property.\n- Provide safety instruction to personnel as needed.\n- Report all work-related injuries immediately.\n- Provide immediate medical attention to injured employees as necessary.\n- Ensure compliance with appropriate government regulations.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s Degree ( Logistics management, Mechanical engineer, or Business Management\n5-7 years of supervision level experience within a distribution warehouse\nOperational supervision experience\nDistribution of product experience\nPreferred warehouse automation experience\nFunctional system understanding in WMS, Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint;
