This role is responsible for execution during outages, troubleshooting, and direct customer interaction to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and within scope.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nAct as the on-site technical lead during steam turbine outages, inspections, and repairs\nServe as the main point of contact for customers in the field, providing updates, resolving issues, and maintaining relationships\nManage troubleshooting and root cause analysis on turbine-related issues\nCoordinate closely with Field Service crews, Project Managers, and Operations to ensure proper execution of work\nReview scope, support planning efforts, and ensure fieldwork aligns with contract requirements\nRecognize and communicate scope changes, risks, and adAditional work opportunities (EWOs)\nPrepare and submit clear, detailed technical reports and job documentation\nDrive safety, quality, and efficiency on all assigned projects\nChampion continuous improvement by distinguishing process gaps and field execution issues.\nAll other duties as assigned by your manager\n*This job description is a summary of the primary job scope and should not be assumed as an all-inclusive description*\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nMinimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in steam turbine field services (outages, inspections, repairs)\nStrong working knowledge of steam turbine components, maintenance practices, and outage execution\nProven ability to lead in the field and work directly with customers\nAbility to troubleshoot under pressure and make decisions in real-time\nPrior experience coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams (ops, engineering, sales)\nEDUCATION:\nBachelor’s Degree from an accredited University Engineering, preferable mechanical or power engineering.\nRelevant field experience may be considered in place of a degree\nWORK CONDITIONS:\nAbility to work in a fast-paced growth environment\nWillingness to work a flexible schedule in order to meet demands of the role\nUp to 40% travel which may include overnight travel\nWhile performing the duties of this job is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk and hear.
