Join us and grow with a leader in the industry!\nPay Rate\nJob Description\nAllied Universal Janitorial Services is seeking the position of a Assistant Housekeeping Manager.\n$18.55 / Hour\nFull Time\nAfternoon Shift\nAs an Assistant Housekeeping Manager for Allied Universal Janitorial Services, you will be responsible for supervising and working alongside crew performing daily cleaning of mall common areas including restrooms, food court, and other public areas.\nQualifications/Requirements\nBe at least 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent for full time positions.\nMinimum of one year of supervisory experience.\nBilingual Spanish is preferred.\nCertain positions may require successful completion of a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.\nEffective communication skills with customer, patrons, and employees- assisting others in a friendly and engaging manner at all times.\nExcellent written, verbal, and customer service skills.\nKnowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.\nStrong attention to detail and reliability on completing tasks that can be repetitive.\nPossess the integrity and ability to work independently and/or collaboratively in a team environment.\nExperience in operations, diagnostics and maintaining HVAC/chiller systems.\nPossess strong maintenance skills/knowledge and computer proficiency.\nMake a professional impression, both in appearance and conduct with highly effective verbal and written communication skills.\nExudes confidence and comfort in interacting effectively with all management levels.\nWillingness to work hands-on and where needed, alongside the staff.\nPassion to embrace change with the ability to modify goals and directives quickly.\nCapable of multi-tasking, using independent judgment, and solid decision-making.\nSound knowledge of OSHA and safety standards for housekeeping, maintenance, and landscaping programs.\nKnowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.\nAbility to operate machinery including high lifts, motorized tools, and vehicles.\nAbility to climb ladders and walk the rooftop of the facility.\nAbility to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.\nAbility to bend, stoop, kneel, reach overhead, drive, and operate equipment frequently and repetitively.\nAbility to be on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year to handle any requests and/or incidents at the site.\nMust be flexible and able to adapt to variable shift hours, including possible weekends and nights, as needed by the company\nReliable transportation is required.\nClosing\nAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
