Join us and grow with a leader in the industry!\nPay Rate\nJob Description\nAllied Universal® Facility Solutions is hiring a Business Development Manager to identify new business opportunities throughout a geographic region. The consultative sales professional will be responsible for new business development throughout a variety of verticals, which include Commercial Real Estate, Higher Education, Medical Office Buildings and Retail Centers.\n Location Requirement: This is a remote position; however, candidates must reside within the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) metropolitan area. \nIndustry Experience: Experience selling janitorial, commercial cleaning, facility services, or closely related outsourced services is strongly preferred.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nDrive the sales process, including prospecting, management of self-generated and company-provided leads, proposal development, contract and pricing negotiations, RFP responses, delivery of customized presentations, and post-close contract implementation.\nDevelop and execute strategic business development plans within a designated geographic territory to achieve company growth objectives, increased market share and positioning of Allied Universal’s local presence and comprehensive janitorial solutions across diverse industries\nCollaborate with internal support departments and operational leadership to develop customized proposals that strategically position the team to win new business and establish a trusted partnership with the client and operations team \nBuild and maintain consultative relationships with key clients, industry partners, and stakeholders to foster long-term business partnerships \nStay up to date on industry and market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to identify innovative business opportunities \nContinuously assess and report on sales cycle activity, pipeline development and sales goal tracking using the CRM tool and ongoing communication to senior management\nBe a part of a culture that values innovation, agility, and teamwork\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nMust possess one or more of the following:\nBachelor’s degree with at least three (3) years of outside sales experience In a Business-to-Business environment\nAssociate’s degree with at least five (5) of outside sales experience in a Business-to-Business environment\nHigh School diploma with at least fifteen (15) years of outside sales experience in a Business-to-Business environment\nCollaborative sales professional who builds strong relationships with operations teams and clients.\nExperience managing enterprise accounts and complex RFP processes, including proposals, presentations, negotiations, and cross-functional coordination.\nIndustry experience in janitorial, facilities services, or other outsourced service environments.\nProven hunter with a track record of sales success, including awards, top rankings, or consistent quota attainment.\nSkilled at building brand presence through networking, industry associations, and social media.\nStrong verbal, written, and presentation skills.\nExperience tracking sales activity, KPIs, and pipeline management in Salesforce.\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage prospecting, client meetings, reporting, and territory planning.\nAbility to travel throughout the assigned territory, including overnight travel as needed.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nPrevious consultative sales experience in a b2b service-based company\nBENEFITS:\nMedical, dental, vision, basic life, AD&D, and disability insurance\nEnrollment in our company’s 401 (k) or Supplemental Income Plan, subject to eligibility requirements\nEight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal days\nVacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly.
