The Collections Manager is responsible for providing support to their region(s) in all matters relating to meeting cash collections objectives. The Collections Manager will be interacting with national, retail, strategic account portfolio managers to assist on removing any obstacle that delays client payments and contact client’s account payable to secure payment schedule/ensure invoices are in ready status. In addition, the Manager will provide guidance and expertise on collecting amounts receivable and collections escalations protocols, as well as WinTeam training regarding AR invoice and AR Domo reporting. The Senior Manager will also work with outside collection agents on assigned corporate collection clients. This Manager may also work with other divisions within the Allied Universal® umbrella of operating companies.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nChair and facilitate the biweekly Accounts Receivable conference calls with the regions’ operational teams\nProvide guidance and expertise on collecting amounts receivable and collections escalations protocols\nDevelop and implement WinTeam training regarding invoicing and business intelligence (Domo) reporting\nFollow-up with operational team members and facilitate resolution of outstanding issues\nProvide weekly client status updates to senior management\nProvide guidance and expertise on collections escalation protocols\nDirect interaction with clients to resolve payment issues, if required\nWork with outside collection agents on assigned corporate collection clients\nAssist Treasury Cash Applications in posting payments or corrections and researching unapplied payments and billing issues\nCompile monthly bad debt reserve items for final analysis on “At Risk” clients\nAssist with hiring and training new Collection Managers\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nBachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting\nMinimum of five (5) years of related Accounts Receivable experience with progressive managerial responsibilities\nDemonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines\nHighly proficient and fully functional in all Microsoft Office applications and able to effectively utilize all available office management technology\nProfessional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion\nOutstanding oral and written communication skills\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nFive (5) or more years of billing experience\nFive (5) or more years of collection experience\nBENEFITS:\nSalary Range: $80,000-95,000\nMedical, dental, vision, basic life, AD&D, retirement plan and disability insurance\nEight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal days\nVacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly.
