The Command Center Operator supports day-to-day security operations by coordinating scheduling, communications, and operational support across a high profile customer. The Command Center Operator serves as a central liaison between field personnel, supervision, and operations leadership to ensure scheduling accuracy, contract compliance, and real-time response to operational needs.\nPart time overnight opening (Friday and Saturday)\nPay: $32.85 an hour\nLocated in Alexandria, Va\nMust have 3 years of command center experience\nMust have 3 years of security experience\nActive DCJS License required\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nAccept, review, and execute temporary and last-minute work orders from client to support effective scheduling and coverage\nMonitor and respond to incoming calls, alarms, and operational communications\nServe as a liaison between field personnel, supervisors, and management\nAccurately document routine and unusual events through reports and logs (accomplished via shift reports, pass-downs logs, incident reports, incident reports logs, or other established methods)\nProvide guidance to security personnel during routine and emergency situations\nMaintain confidentiality of employee, client, and operational information\nHandle (without delay) complaints and unusual/critical event information\nResponsible for Portfolio-wide schedule build out and timekeeping operations, ensuring accurate clock-in/clock-out compliance and seamless alignment between client and Allied schedules\nPlaces uniform orders for the portfolio in accordance with eligibility, sizing, and uniform requirements\nPerforms compliance code entry across the portfolio and issues completion certificates directly to employees\nQUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):\nHigh School diploma or equivalent\nMinimum one (1) year experience in scheduling or operations support\nStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nAbility to remain calm, professional, and solution-focused under pressure\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications\nHigh attention to detail with consistent documentation accuracy\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):\nPrior security experience, preferably as a dispatcher in law enforcement, 911 call center, alarm response center, or similar environment\nBENEFITS:\nHealth insurance and 401k plans for full-time positions \nSchedules that fit with your personal life goals\nOngoing paid training programs and career growth opportunities\nEmployee discounts through our perks program to your favorite restaurants, entertainment venues and much more…\nClosing\nAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
