Explore key roles, such as executive protection agents, intelligence analysts, armed security operatives, x-ray screeners, and security consultants.\nPay Rate\nJob Description\nPay rate is $65 per hour\n Hours are Monday through Friday, 7am to 5pm (hours can vary)\nPosition Summary\nThe Executive Protection Specialist (EPS) is responsible for the safe, discreet, and efficient transportation and protection of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and designated Executive Committee members. This role combines close protection, secure driving, advance planning, and risk mitigation in a complex, high-visibility financial services environment.\nThe EPS operates as part of a coordinated executive protection program, partnering with Global Security, Office of the CEO (OCEO) staff, Executive Assistants, Travel, and external vendors to ensure seamless protection coverage across daily movements, business travel, and corporate events.\nKey Responsibilities & Duties\nExecutive Protection & Safety\n· Provide close-in, unarmed protection for the CEO during all movements and engagements\n· Maintain constant situational awareness and proactively identify risks, vulnerabilities, and suspicious activity\n· Conduct protective intelligence and threat assessments in coordination with Global Security\n· Apply de-escalation techniques and conflict avoidance strategies as primary response methods\nSecure Transportation (Primary Function)\n· Serve as primary driver for CEO in NYC Metro Area and surrounding areas, and other locations where the CEO travels\n· Plan and execute secure routes, accounting for traffic, protests, events, and emerging risks\n· Perform vehicle inspections and ensure vehicles are maintained in safe, discreet, executive-ready condition\n· Execute evasive or defensive driving techniques when required (within legal and policy constraints)\nAdvance Planning & Coordination\n· Conduct advance site assessments for meetings, events, and travel destinations\n· Coordinate logistics with OCEO staff, Executive Assistants, aviation teams, hotels, and venue security\n· Support domestic and international travel, including airport procedures and ground transportation coordination\n· Review and maintain protective intelligence briefs\nOperational Excellence & Discretion\n· Maintain strict confidentiality regarding executive movements, business activities, and personal information\n· Present a professional, low-profile demeanor consistent with Client culture\n· Document incidents, daily activity reports, and after-action reviews\n· Ensure compliance with all local laws, corporate policies, and licensing requirements\nEducational Requirements\n· University (Degree) Preferred\nRequired Qualifications\n· 5+ years of experience in executive protection, law enforcement, military, or high-end private security\n· Demonstrated experience in protective driving in dense urban environments (NYC Metro Area preferred)\n· Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; advanced driving certification preferred\n· Strong knowledge of NYC Metro Area geography, traffic patterns, and security considerations\n· Ability to work flexible, irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and travel\n· Exceptional judgment, situational awareness, and interpersonal skills\n· Unarmed NY Guard Card\nPreferred Qualifications\n· Experience supporting C-suite executives in financial services or Fortune 500 environments\n· Formal executive protection training (e.g., protective intelligence, surveillance detection)\n· CPR/First Aid/AED certification\n· Familiarity with protective intelligence platforms and reporting systems\n· NY Pistol Permit\nCore Competencies\n· Discretion & professionalism\n· Risk assessment and mitigation\n· Defensive driving and route planning\n· Executive presence and communication\n· Crisis response and decision-making\nWorking Conditions\n· Primarily based in New York City (Manhattan)\n· Frequent driving and extended periods on duty aligned to executive schedules\n· Domestic and occasional international travel required\n· On-call availability may be required\nReporting Structure\n· Reports to: Head of Global Physical Security & Executive Protection\n· Works closely with: OCEO, Executive Assistants, Global Security, Travel & Events\nSummary\nThis role is best suited for a highly disciplined, low-profile protection professional who can seamlessly integrate security, driving, and executive support in one of the most demanding environments in the world.
