The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Manager plays a vital role within the Physical Security and Safety team, ensuring the maintenance of a safe and secure environment for employees, contractors, visitors, and guests. The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Manager will lead and oversee a shift-based team, provide strategic program oversight, policy and procedure development, as well as perform technical and project management.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nOperational oversight for the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) program and partner with client leadership on overall program management\nAssist with developing, implementing, administering, monitoring, and improving GSOC training, work instructions, and protocols\nDevelop and update operating procedures and guidance documents\nSelection and placement of Analysts; professional development, implement positive as well as disciplinary action as appropriate; develop and implement performance improvement plans\nSupervise the maintenance of a GSOC knowledge management tool to ensure work resources remain accurate and readily available for Operators\nAct as the first-line supervisor in the GSOC, providing leadership, supervision, and oversight over all operations\nAssist with the daily schedule for GSOC personnel, Coordinate coverage for team absences\nResponsible for quality control of all GSOC products and reports\nMaintain situational awareness of events that may compromise the safety and security of personnel, business operations, and infrastructure for client locations globally; escalate to client stakeholders as necessary\nParticipate in Quarterly Business Reviews; provide expert-level recommendations regarding staffing levels and requirements as they relate to business costs and company profit margins\nReceive, evaluate, and disseminate information and reports from security personnel, managers, suppliers, reporting parties, etc.\nSupport and mentor junior personnel to enhance proficiency with company resources, processes, and procedures\nDraft and send emergency mass notifications and other crisis communications\nCreate concise, factual reports for distribution to client representatives, company management, and external stakeholders\nSupport the travel security program by monitoring associate travel and be prepared to account for them during events of concern or elevated risk\nPartner with internal security, facilities, real estate, enterprise resiliency, and business continuity teams during business-impacting incidents or events\nReceive, evaluate, and disseminate incoming information and reports from company security personnel, security officers in the field, company employees, suppliers, reporting parties, and local agencies\nDevelop concise, fact-based incident reports for distribution to various partners\nRepresent the company in handling employee or customer complaints, implement resolution to employee grievances or performance deficiencies\nQUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):\nMust possess one of the following:\nBachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, IT, Communications or a related field of study\nAssociates Degree in Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, IT, Communications with a minimum of five (5) years of work experience in a Global Security Operations Center role\nMinimum of five (5) years of experience in corporate security management or a similar role\nMinimum of three (3) years of experience of Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) experience with a focus on intelligence assessments, brand protection, and travel security\nExperience working with Everbridge Suite, Dataminr, NC4, or other similar AI-based platforms for risk management\nDemonstrated working knowledge of best-in-class security processes and practices\nEffective oral and written interpersonal communication skills, including consulting, team building, and collaboration throughout all levels of the organization; able to communicate clear and concisely when providing oral directives as well as written logs and reports\nComputer proficiency with Microsoft Office suite products and the ability to work with complex platforms.\nDemonstrated proficiency in alarm monitoring, access control, video management, and crisis communication technology\nAbility to work in a fast-paced organization; coordinate and manage multiple tasks with limited supervision\nAbility to make decisions, multi-task, and operate within high-stress situations, often under time constraints\nWorking knowledge of current global events and the global sociopolitical landscape\nAbility to analyze and think critically, sometimes under ambiguous circumstances\nPlanning, organizing, and leadership skills\nStrong customer service and service delivery orientation\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):\nMaster’s degree in Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, Communications, or related field of study\nAbility to operate radio or telephone equipment and console monitors\nIntelligence, corporate, military, and security experience\nBENEFITS:\nMedical, dental, vision, basic life, AD&D, retirement plan and disability insurance\nEight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal days\nVacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly.
