This position will be for approximately 12 weeks, with the potential to last longer.\nAs a GSOC Operator, you will monitor open-source information, identify and assess potential threats, and provide timely intelligence and situational awareness regarding risks to the client, its employees, facilities, and business interests. You will document security incidents, prepare detailed investigative reports, support incident response efforts, and help maintain effective risk management procedures.\nThe ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, professional, and capable of making sound decisions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as this role requires collaboration with security personnel, corporate management, internal departments, and external stakeholders.\nKey Responsibilities\nMonitor and analyze open-source information to identify potential threats, emerging risks, and security concerns affecting the client, its employees, facilities, and business operations.\nCollect, evaluate, and disseminate intelligence based on credibility, relevance, and potential impact.\nMaintain situational awareness of security incidents, developing threats, and events that may affect the client or its interests.\nPrepare, document, and publish accurate, detailed security incident reports using established incident management and reporting systems.\nCommunicate critical information and intelligence assessments to management, security personnel, and relevant stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.\nAssist with coordinating responses to significant security incidents, emergencies, and other events requiring heightened awareness or action.\nSupport enterprise risk identification, assessment, and monitoring to help business leaders make informed decisions.\nAssist with risk assessment projects and maintain accurate risk documentation, policies, procedures, standards, and risk registers.\nContribute to the development and improvement of GSOC procedures, reporting standards, and operational processes.\nCollaborate with security officers, security specialists, and cross-functional teams to support protective operations and risk mitigation initiatives.\nMaintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive information, intelligence, and client-related matters.\nPerform other duties as assigned to support GSOC operations and client security objectives.\nJob Requirements\n Minimum of one year of GSOC experience required.\nWorking knowledge of current GSOC technologies, security monitoring platforms, incident management systems, and intelligence research tools.\nExperience conducting open-source intelligence research, identifying potential threats, and assessing security-related information.\nStrong written communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear, accurate, and grammatically correct incident reports.\nExcellent verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with peers, clients, executives, and other stakeholders.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with database and incident reporting systems.\nAbility to assess information, recognize potential risks, prioritize tasks, and respond effectively in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to maintain professionalism, sound judgment, and composure during stressful or time-sensitive situations.\nAbility to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.\nWillingness to sign a nondisclosure agreement (NDA) and maintain strict confidentiality.\nAvailability to attend required training events outside normal working hours when necessary.\nCompensation, Benefits & Perks\nStarting Pay: $29.25 per hour\nAllied Universal® Executive Protection & Intelligence offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:\nMedical, dental, and vision insurance\nLife insurance\nPaid employee training and professional development\n401(k) retirement plan\nPaid holidays\nFlexible paid time off (PTO)\nWhy Join Allied Universal® Executive Protection & Intelligence?\nJoin a team dedicated to protecting people, assets, and business interests through proactive security intelligence, threat awareness, and risk management.
