The Lobby Supervisor is responsible for the management/supervision of Lobby Receptionist personnel, providing security access control measures via lobbies, badging and special events for multiple sites for a high-profile customer.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nSupervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services to the client. Act as a liaison between customer, Account Manager, and lobby receptionists; supervise lobby staff, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment range\nSupervise day-do-day operations at the site for Lobbies, Badge & ID, Visitor Centers, and Large Events\nEnforce Allied Universal policies as outlined in the handbooks and executive memos\nAssist the Account Manager in identifying, meeting, and exceeding the needs of the customer\nMeet all contractual scheduled hours with a minimum of unbilled overtime\nCoordinate and/or conduct site-specific on-the-job training (OJT), client specific training, and annual refresher training for lobby personnel\nManage uniforms, equipment, supplies, and vehicles utilized at the account, maintaining appropriate inventories and maintenance checklists\nCommunicate staffing needs to the Account Manager or to recruiters via Requisition Form, assisting in identifying and interviewing quality candidates\nAssure that lobby personnel receive appropriate training, developing them in both technical and professional skills; also includes performance management (coaching, counseling, disciplining, performance evaluations, recognition, etc.)\nAssist with the communication of policies, company announcements and job openings\nPerform other operations and related functions (e.g., payroll, review and maintain incident reports, assist in preparation of security surveys and post orders)\nRespond to client requests\nMake emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders\nProvide direction and instruction to subordinates regarding the performance of their duties\nDisciplinary action/commendation decisions pertaining to security personnel\nMake productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management\nMake recommendations for physical security surveys, job safety analysis and post orders\nMake recommendations concerning disciplinary action/commendation decisions pertaining to security personnel assigned\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nMust possess a high school diploma or equivalent\nLicensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment\nMust possess, or be able to obtain, a SECRET clearance with the Department of Defense\nMinimum one (1) year of experience in security, law enforcement or military service\nMust possess one or more of the following:\nService in the active-duty military, military reserves, or National Guard\nService in Auxiliary Police or Police Cadets\nMinimum of one year verifiable and successful supervisory experience in security-related industry\nBe able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors\nDemonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public\nEffective oral and written communication skills\nProblem solving skills\nActive listening skills\nAssess and evaluate situations effectively; identify critical issues quickly and accurately\nCompile, sort, and interpret data\nResearch, investigate, compile information\nMediate conflict with tact, diplomacy\nWrite informatively, clearly, and accurately\nTeamwork\nAttention to detail\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nPossession of one or more of the following:\nService in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone\nGraduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field\nBachelor’s degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies\nA minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branch\nAssociate’s degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service\nBENEFITS:\nMedical, dental, vision, basic life, AD&D, and disability insurance\nEnrollment in our company’s 401(k)plan, subject to eligibility requirements\nSeven holidays annually paid at time and a half, if worked\n40 hours of vacation after one year of employment at eligible work assignments.
