The Manager, Security Operations Center and Badging oversees the Security Operations Center (SOC) and access control/badging administration for Samsung locations. The Manager, Security Operations Center and Badging ensures continuous monitoring of security systems, proper credential management, coordination of emergency communications, and incident escalation. The Manager provides leadership to SOC and badging staff, conducts CCTV investigations, and collaborates with internal stakeholders and law enforcement agencies. Key responsibilities include maintaining operational compliance, developing SOPs, providing metrics and reporting, and ensuring effective training and professional development of team members.\nPay Details; $88,500.00 /yr\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nSecurity Operations Center (SOC) Management\nOversee daily operations of the SOC, including monitoring alarms, CCTV, and access control systems\nSelection and placement of SOC personnel; conduct disciplinary action and develop performance improvement plans; design and implement career development of direct reports\nDevelop and implement training programs for SOC personnel; design and implement remedial and refresher training programs\nAnalyze employee performs; initiate quality assurance programs; develop and implement processes to resolve deficiencies\nCoordinate incident response and emergency communications for security events\nMonitor, document, investigate, and escalate security incidents appropriately\nReview daily incident reports for accuracy and completeness\nAccess Control and Badging Administration\nSelection and placement of badging personnel; conduct disciplinary action and develop performance improvement plans; design and implement career development of direct reports\nDevelop and implement training programs for badging personnel; design and implement remedial and refresher training programs\nManage badge issuance, replacements, and deactivations\nOversee role-based and location-based access permissions\nMaintain accurate records in Lenel and V2 Systems\nEnsure processes align with onboarding/offboarding procedures\nCCTV Monitoring and Investigations\nConduct CCTV investigations to support incident resolution\nCollaborate with internal investigators and law enforcement agencies\nMaintain discretion and follow legal/ethical standards in surveillance operations\nSecurity Technology Oversight\nOversee operational functionality of CCTV, access control, badge readers, alarms, and visitor management systems\nConduct weekly system audits to ensure equipment readiness\nCoordinate repairs, upgrades, and system testing with vendors and IT\nTeam Leadership and Training\nSupervise SOC and badging staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management\nDevelop Standard Operating Procedures, guidance documents, and training materials\nProvide refresher and corrective training as needed\nPerformance Metrics and Reporting\nProvide operational metrics on visitors, badge issuance, system issues, and incident trends\nEstablish and track Key Performance Indicators for SOC performance and response times\nRecommend process improvements and cost-saving initiatives\nRisk Management and Compliance\nEnsure operations comply with client policies, company procedures, and regulatory requirements\nSupport audits and compliance reviews\nIdentify security vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies\nMaintain accurate documentation for all incidents and audits\nQUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nLicensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment\nMinimum of two (2) years of security operations experience in a Security Operations Center, Command Center, 911 Operations\nExperience with access control, badging, and CCTV monitoring\nSupervisory or leadership experience\nEffective oral and written communication\nPlanning and organization skills, and attention to detail\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications\nIncident analysis and investigative skills\nProblem-solving and decision-making skills\nDate interpretation and reporting skills\nConflict resolution and interpersonal skills\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):\nCollege degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration or related field of study\nExperience with Lenel and V2 Systems\nNetwork infrastructure familiarity (Ethernet, TCP/IP)\nExperience coordinating with law enforcement and investigative agencies\nSecurity hardware/software troubleshooting experience\nBENEFITS:\nMedical, dental, vision, basic life, AD&D, retirement plan and disability insurance\nEight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal days\nVacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly; unused vacation is only paid out where required by law\nClosing\nAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
