- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and report observations.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting arrivals, departures, and incidents as required.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
- Complete accurate activity logs, patrol reports, and incident documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
- Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
