Job Description

As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Boundary Assessment in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a residential location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, observe and report activity, respond to incidents, and provide courteous customer service and clear communication to residents and visitors. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a residential location.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, building entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
• Communicate observations, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues to site management and Allied Universal leadership in accordance with post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
