Whether you’re an installation technician, service technician, engineer, or project manager, you’ll discover rewarding opportunities to grow your career as part of a valued team.\nApply today and be phenomenal-build a meaningful career while protecting what matters most through innovative security technology.\nPay Rate\nJob Description\nWhat to expect as a Commercial Security Installation Technician III:\nAssist the Project Manager regarding on-site scheduling of work activities and timely delivery of equipment\nResponsible for the connection of control panels, application requirements, wire concealment, and security software installationInstall, program and configure commercial electronic security systems for enterprise commercial clients (door access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, low voltage communication, electronic locks, point sensors, signaling devices, ect.)\n\nTroubleshoot new installations to ensure the systems are functioning properly and satisfy codes\nDemonstrate Allied Universal’s core values as a highly skilled leader on the Installation Team\nSupervise several teams comprised of Security Installation Technician I’s and II’s\nManage several medium- to large-sized jobs simultaneously, doing so within approved hours and margin tolerances\nDrive to client sites with a company-issued vehicle to perform the system installation and confirm the system is operating effectively and meets contract requirements\nInstallation of electrical wiring, panels, cables, and security devices\nCompletes miscellaneous tasks as assigned by manager \nWhat knowledge and skills are required:\nA high school diploma or equivalent is required\nMinimum 2-3 years of experience in the physical security, fire alarm or low voltage communication industry installing field devices, programming systems, and running medium- to large-sized jobs, are required\nExperience with any or all of the following is preferred: Software House, Lenel, AMAG, S2, Brivo, Milestone, Exacq, Axis, Bosch, Commend, DMP, Open Options, Notifier, Fluidmesh or ONSSI\nPossess or have the ability to obtain proper state licensing once hired (Low Voltage D license, Alarm Installer Lic. etc.)\nAbility to meet deadlines and work in a fast-based environment with minimum direction\nGood communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external customers\nStrong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude\nAbility to be on-call on a rotational basis \nMust be detail-oriented and organized\nMust possess a valid driver’s license with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), a minimum level of insurance as required by company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle.\n\nAbility to complete time entry from home on a daily basis via the Internet\nAbility to deliver product familiarization training to end-users\nStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and Project)\nAbility and track record of successfully loading servers with third-party applications and deploying IP video solutions\nPossess general working knowledge of network architecture \nOvernight travel may be required on an as-need basis\nBENEFITS:\nMedical, dental, vision, retirement plan, basic life, AD&D, and disability insurance\nEight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal days\nVacation time is offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly.
