As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver with Active Clearance in Portsmouth, RI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and active DoD Secret Clearance. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and promptly communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, verifying credentials and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
Prepare clear, accurate reports for incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
