While working in a dynamic, welcoming, and collaborative workplace, you will be part of a team that contributes to a culture that positively impacts the communities and customers we serve.\nPay Rate\nJob Description\nAllied Universal® is hiring a Security Project Manager.\nPosition Is: Full Time\nPay Rate: $35 / hour\nOverview\nThe Security Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering physical security technology projects across corporate offices, campuses, and/or data center environments. This role requires strong project management skills combined with a working knowledge of access control systems, CCTV/video surveillance, and basic IP networking principles to effectively coordinate vendors, internal stakeholders, and technical teams.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage end-to-end security technology projects, including access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and related infrastructure\nDevelop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk registers\nCoordinate internal stakeholders (Security, IT, Facilities, Real Estate, Legal) and external vendors/integrators\nOversee system design reviews to ensure solutions meet security standards, operational needs, and technical requirements\nTrack project milestones, dependencies, and deliverables to ensure on-time and on-budget execution\nLead installation, testing, commissioning, and close-out activities\nReview drawings, scopes of work, submittals, and change orders\nConduct site walks and validate installations against approved designs\nManage vendor performance, escalations, and issue resolution\nEnsure documentation is completed, including as-built drawings, system configurations, and handover packages\nProvide regular status reporting to leadership and stakeholders\nTechnical Knowledge & Skills\nWorking knowledge of access control systems\nWorking knowledge of CCTV / video surveillance systems\nUnderstanding of basic IP networking concepts, including:\nIP addressing\nVLANs\nPoE (Power over Ethernet)\nNetwork switches\nBandwidth considerations\n\nFamiliarity with system integrations between security platforms and enterprise IT networks\nAbility to communicate effectively with IT/network teams without requiring deep engineering expertise\nRequired Qualifications\n3-7+ years of project management experience, preferably in physical security or low-voltage technology projects\nExperience managing vendors, integrators, and multi-site deployments\nStrong organizational, communication, and documentation skills\nAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced environments\nComfortable working in operational environments (corporate offices, construction sites, data centers)\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with enterprise access control and VMS platforms\nExperience in corporate, campus, or data center security environments\nPMP, CAPM, or security-focused project management certification a plus\nFamiliarity with construction coordination and facilities workflows\nLicensed by the New York State Department of State\nClosing\nAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
