The Security Shift Supervisor will function as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.\nAs a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. \nLicensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.\nResponsibilities:\nsecurity Supervise the day-to-day security operations of an assigned client site. \nManage a team of security officers, site and/or shift supervisors including hiring/selection, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, development, and support. \nEnsure the client site is provided with high-quality security services to protect people and property. \nBuild, improve and maintain effective relationships with both clients and employees. \nProvide customer service to our clients by conducting safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and, if appropriate, emergency response activities.\nRespond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner. \nConduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. \nWorking environments and conditions may vary by client site. \nMust possess effective written and oral communication and people skills with the ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the public in a professional and effective manner; must be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines. \nMust be able to frequently prepare written reports and log in neat, legible handwriting.\nMust be able to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions. \nIntermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites. \nAbility to manage both common and crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently.\n;\nClosing\nAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
