This role ensures training consistency, quality, and operational readiness through structured instruction, exercises, and ongoing program maintenance. The position serves as the central point of coordination for security drills and training activities, working in alignment with operational stakeholders to ensure exercises are realistic, well-executed, and actionable. This is a high-impact individual contributor role requiring prior experience managing a comparable training program. Limited travel is required to support program needs.\nCORE RESPONSIBILITIES:\nTraining Program Ownership & Execution\nOwn and manage a standardized security training program across assigned locations\nEnsure training content, delivery, and cadence are consistent, documented, and sustainable\nMaintain oversight of training schedules, materials, certifications, and completion tracking\nServe as the primary coordinator for security training initiatives and exercises\nDrills & Exercises\nPlan, coordinate, and execute security drills and scenario-based exercises\nEnsure drills are structured, communicated effectively, and completed with minimal operational disruption\nFacilitate post-exercise reviews and track follow-up actions or improvements\nIncorporate lessons learned into updated training materials and guidance\nInstruction & Delivery\nDeliver instructor-led training, tabletop sessions, and operational briefings as needed\nSupport onboarding, refresher, and role-specific training for security personnel\nValidate training effectiveness through observation, feedback, and performance during exercises\nStakeholder Coordination (Non-Supervisory)\nCoordinate training activities with operations and program stakeholders\nEnsure training efforts align with established response procedures and operational expectations\nProvide subject-matter guidance without direct supervisory authority\nIdentify trends, gaps, or risks and elevate them appropriately\nCompliance & Documentation\nMaintain accurate training records, attendance logs, and certifications\nSupport internal and client reviews related to training and readiness\nPrepare reports, summaries, and readiness metrics as required\nField & Site Support\nTravel periodically to support on-site training, drills, and program rollout\nConduct site-level assessments focused on training execution and preparedness\nProvide actionable feedback to Operations regarding readiness and execution quality\nRole Scope & Structure\nIndividual contributor (no direct reports)\nHigh-autonomy role with enterprise-level visibility\nReports to Operations or Security Program leadership\nQUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience\nPrior experience owning or managing a security training or operational training program\nDemonstrated experience coordinating drills or structured exercises in an operational environment\nStrong understanding of security operations and incident response fundamentals\nAbility to work independently with a high degree of judgment and accountability\nStrong written, verbal, and presentation skills\nMust have a valid driver’s license or be able to pass a state licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle\nAbility to work independently with little to no direct supervision.\nOutstanding oral and written communication skills; ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization, including with clients.\nAbility to write manuals, review, and respond to written requests for proposals, training documents, and prepare extensive presentations is required.\nHighly proficient and fully functional in Microsoft programs such as Word and PowerPoint and able to effectively utilize all available office management technology.\nDemonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines.\nProfessional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.\nApproximately 10-20% travel, as needed to support approved training, drills, audits, and site initiatives\nApproved travel associated with this role is billed in accordance with program and client requirements\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):\nExperience supporting multi-site security operations\nBackground in corporate security, contract security, or operational training environments\nExperience working with SOPs, post orders, and standardized procedures\nExperience in security operations or other functions of security industry\nBENEFITS:\nMedical, dental, vision, basic life, AD&D, and disability insurance\nEnrollment in our company’s 401(k)plan, subject to eligibility requirements\nEight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal days\nVacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly.
