The Warehouse Manager is an essential position for the productivity of the equipment across the divisions of Diversified Maintenance. Proper positioning, maintenance, repair, and replacement of equipment is vital to delivering the customer experience we promise our customers. As a key member of the procurement team, this position works cross functionally with other operating areas to properly execute supply and logistics needs.\nApply today!\n$50,000 / Year\nCORE RESPONSIBILITIES:\nEquipment Management\nDiagnostics: Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and battery-powered issues in janitorial machinery.\nRepair: Perform necessary repairs to equipment inventory. Return the equipment to good working order to be redeployed to active jobsites.\nPreventative Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, and scheduled maintenance to prevent equipment breakdowns and extend asset life. Travel is a possibility with this.\nWarehouse & Inventory Management: Track equipment location, manage replacement parts stock, handle vendor orders, and reallocate field inventory.\nWork Order Execution: Log repairs, update maintenance schedules, and manage open service orders or work tickets.\nFleet & Logistics Support: Coordinate shipping/receiving of machinery, manage small parcel or LTL freight, and support field operations.\nManage: Manage service contracts including landscaping, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and others as needed.\nNew Business preparation: Coordinate and prepare product and equipment for new business contracts. Travel is a possibility with this.\n\nFuture Strategy Developing Plan and Execution of Regional Repair Centers\nWarehouse: inventory accuracy, tracking, allocation and logistics; return of inventory from closed jobs; reallocation of inventory in field for productivity purposes; distribution of available inventory to field; oversee Freight logistics - small parcel, LTL, Truckload\nFleet: Oversee and manage physical acquisition of Fleet vehicles\nDevelopment and Startups: Partner with cross functional teams to develop startup equipment and tools strategy and execution; travel into field to assist with start-up businesses and requisition of equipment when operations are terminated\nBirmingham Facility: Execute work orders for proper functioning of Birmingham facility\nQUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\n\nBusiness level oral and written communication skills; ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English\nAbility to multitask and adapt to changing environments\nExcellent customer service skills; active listening skills\nAbility to lead and encourage teamwork; ability to negotiate and resolve conflict\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):\nBilingual; ability to speak, read, and write in Spanish, French, or other languages\nPrior cleaning or janitorial experience\nFamiliarity with custodial practices and commercial cleaning standards\nKnowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and waxing\nExperience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance\nBENEFITS:\nMedical, dental, vision, basic life, AD&D, retirement plan and disability insurance\nEight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal days\nVacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly; unused vacation is only paid out where required by law\nClosing\nDiversified Maintenance is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
