This includes maintaining account setup and rate accuracy, cross referencing member eligibility, processing monthly billing files, generating invoices, and validating billing outputs within QicLink and other supporting technical systems to ensure completeness and accuracy prior to release.\nThis role works closely with the internal Billing, Eligibility, AP, AR, and Client Services teams to resolve premium billing discrepancies, implement account changes, and ensure billing aligns with quoted rates and system configurations. The Billing Coordinator is also responsible for identifying issues impacting billing accuracy and escalating or resolving them to prevent recurrence.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nExecute monthly premium billing processes in QicLink system, including importing and validating billing files across multiple clients and lines of business with differing invoicing rules\nGenerate and distribute invoices based on generated billing results, client requirements, and service activity \nIdentify, research, and resolve billing discrepancies, including missing charges, incorrect amounts, or system processing issues \nCreate and manage self-bill processes for applicable clients and services \nReview billing outputs for accuracy and completeness, including validation of rates, eligibility, and service configurations \nSet up new accounts and implement changes to existing accounts, ensuring alignment with client contracts and operational requirements \nAudit account setups and changes to confirm proper configuration and prevent downstream billing errors \nPartner with AR, AP, Eligibility, and Client Services teams to resolve billing-related questions, exceptions, and client inquiries \nMaintain tracking tools and reporting (Excel, Access, or system-based) to monitor billing activity, issues, and completion status \nSupport state reporting and other client-specific reporting requirements tied to billing outputs \nIdentify and analyze recurring issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions and process improvements\nEnsure adherence to internal controls, audit requirements, and established billing procedures \nOther duties as assigned\nEDUCATION\nHigh School diploma or equivalent required \nAssociate or Bachelor's coursework in Business, Accounting, or Finance preferred\nEXPERIENCE AND SKILLS\nMinimum 1-2 years of experience in group medical premium billing\nWorking knowledge of group premium rates and member eligibility\nAbility to produce accurate group premium invoices in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment\nExperience supporting billing processes, invoicing, or data validation\nStrong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in billing and data processing\nAbility to identify discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions\nStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines \nAbility to work independently in a structured, process-driven environment \nEffective communication skills using Microsoft Outlook and Teams to coordinate across internal teams and resolve issues \nStrong Microsoft Excel skills, including data validation, reconciliation, and basic analysis, with experience using tools such as Power Query preferred\nExperience working with financial systems, billing platforms, or database tools preferred \nAbility to quickly learn and navigate internal systems, including QicLink and Power BI reporting tools\nPOSITION COMPETENCIES\nAccountability \nCommunication \nCustomer Service Orientation \nFunctional/Technical Skills \nQuality Focus \nTime and Task Management\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\nThis is a standard desk role requiring extended sitting and computer work. \nWORK ENVIRONMENT\nRemote \nHere at Allied, we believe that great talent can thrive from anywhere.
