This role will develop predictive solutions, evaluate AI and analytics outcomes, and partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities where data and advanced analytics can improve efficiency, performance, cost, and overall business value.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nDesign, develop, and evaluate production-grade statistical and machine learning models.\n\nDevelop predictive solutions supporting healthcare operations, member experience, provider engagement, and business performance.\n\nPerform feature engineering and model validation.\n\nEstablish best practices for experimentation and model evaluation.\n\nEmploy and evangelize advanced statistical techniques where applicable.\n\nAnalyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and operational insights.\n\nTranslate business questions into analytical approaches and measurable outcomes.\n\nPresent findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.\n\nHelp business stakeholders make data-driven decisions.\n\nDesign and analyze experiments to evaluate process improvements, AI systems, and business interventions.\n\nDefine success metrics and measurement strategies for new AI and analytics initiatives.\n\nAssess model performance and business impact over time.\n\nPartner with stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs).\n\nDesign executive and business-facing dashboards.\n\nDrive metric standardization and reporting consistency.\n\nInterpret trends and provide insight into changes in business performance.\n\nIdentify opportunities where analytics, machine learning, or AI can improve operational outcomes.\n\nSupport evaluation of emerging AI capabilities and business use cases.\n\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nEDUCATION\nBachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.\n\nEXPERIENCE AND SKILLS\n5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, machine learning, AI, or applied statistics.\n\nExpert knowledge of statistics.\n\nStrong Python skills.\n\nAdvanced SQL knowledge.\n\nExperience developing predictive models and analytical solutions.\n\nExperience communicating insights to business stakeholders and executives.\n\nStrong understanding of experimentation, model evaluation, and statistical analysis.\n\nExperience working in healthcare, insurance, claims, or related regulated industries.\n\nExperience with Power BI or similar BI platforms.\n\nExperience with cloud-based analytics environments.\n\nFamiliarity with machine learning deployment workflows.\n\nFamiliarity with generative AI evaluation methodologies and LLM-based systems.\n\nExperience with coding assistants, e.g., Claude Code, for feature-oriented development\n\nPOSITION COMPETENCIES:\nAccountability\n\nAnalytical Problem Solving\n\nCollaboration\n\nQuality and Risk Management\n\nSystems Thinking\n\nTechnical/Functional Expertise\n\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nThis is a standard desk role requiring extended sitting and computer work\nWORK ENVIRONMENT:\nRemote\nHere at Allied, we believe that great talent can thrive from anywhere.
