We are committed to providing whole person care, investing in your well-being, and enriching your career.Key Position Details:\n1.0 FTE (80 hours per two-week pay period)\n8-hour Day/Evening/Night shifts\nOn-call weekend rotation\nJob Description:\nMaintains, repairs and operates heavy gasoline and diesel powered equipment, assists with landscaping and maintains the grounds, sidewalks, driveways and parking lots.\nPrinciple Responsibilities\nProvides Timely and Professional grounds care.Maintains all entrances of the facility.\nFertilizes and cuts grass and trims trees and shrubs.\nProvide preventative maintenance.\nSchedule and facilitate work order/preventative maintenance completion with hospital staff, vendors, and contractors.\nReports hazards and/or potential work hazards in our facilities in order to prevent injury to self, peers, patients and visitors.\nPickup all debris, paper cans etc. around the entire building and grounds.\nMay work with grounds vendors to ensure property is setup for each season.\nMay need to assist with sweeping and sidewalk upkeep.\nMay need to maintain and repair underground irrigation system.\nMay need to maintain parking lots and drives.\nMay need to help with equipment breakdowns.\nMay need to do basic math problems.\nMay need to order supplies and equipment.\nMay provide direction and assign work to the Groundskeeper Associate.\n\nProvides maintenance and repair of parking lots.Keeps parking lots, sidewalks and driveways free of snow and ice during winter months.\nServices and repairs all grounds equipment.\n\nOther duties as assigned.\nRequired Qualifications\nMust be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description\n2+ years of general maintenance and grounds keeping\n0 to 2 years of basic computer skills\nPreferred Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED\nLicenses/Certifications\nValid Driver’s License required upon hire - MN and WI residents must obtain a valid driver’s license in their state of residence within 60 days of employment\nDepartment of Transportation Certified upon hire required\nPhysical Demands\nMedium Work:\nLifting weight up to 50 lbs. occasionally, up to 25 lbs. frequently\nPay Range\nPay Range: $22.42 to $29.29 per hourThe pay described reflects the base hourly pay range.
