We are committed to providing whole person care, investing in your well-being, and enriching your career.Key Position Details:\n.5 FTE (40 hours per two-week pay period)\n8-hour day/evening shifts; hours scheduled between 7:00 AM-5:00 PM\nNo weekends\nExcellian Radiant experience preferred\nMedical terminology and previous imaging scheduling experience strongly preferred\nJob Description:\nSchedules procedures and examinations according to department and/or physician guidelines, ensuring accurate and complete patient and procedure information. Prepares, compiles and maintains patient records while also performing receptionist and clerical duties.Principle Responsibilities\nPatient scheduling and registrationSchedules, verifies or re-schedules appointments. Delivers daily schedules as needed.\nCollects and enters all required patient scheduling information into system.\nVerifies demographic and insurance information, updates as needed.\nInstructs patient and staff regarding special instructions and preparation.\n\nMaintain departmental records, reports, files and suppliesMaintain patient records and department logs and files as required.\nPrints and distributes reports as required.\nMay update policy and/or procedure manual.\nMay be accountable for office supply ordering and stocking.\nMay conduct charge review, collection and entry.\n\nOther duties as assigned.\nRequired Qualifications\nMust be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description \nPreferred Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED \nVocational or Technical Training from a healthcare program \n2 to 5 years medical office experience that includes scheduling within an automated environment \nExperience working in a fast-paced medical environment with the ability to identify priorities, work independently, problem solve and multi-task \nStrong working knowledge of medical terminology as well as Windows, Word and Excel \nPhysical Demands\nSedentary:\nLifting weight up to 10 lbs. occasionally, negligible weight frequently\nPay Range\nPay Range: $21.15 to $32.13 per hourThe pay described reflects the base hourly pay range.
