Join our collaborative, mission-driven team and bring your skills to work that makes a real difference every day.\nAspire Living & Learning is currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Program Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations for adults with developmental disabilities, ensuring that all supported individuals are receiving appropriate clinical and medical services in Harford County. The Program Manager will mentor, develop and supervise shift supervisors and direct care staff, ensure adherence to all DDS, funding agency, and state regulations, maintains and monitor staffing schedule, assist with writing clinical assessments and overseeing ISP assessments, and assume on-call responsibilities as required. The Program Manager will also assist and instruct individuals in all aspects of their IP, administer medication when required, provide in-house and agency-contracted training and consultation services, adhere to budgetary guidelines, assist and instruct residents with daily living skills, behavioral and habilitative plans, medical, psychiatric and socio-emotional needs, and work with the People Team to plan and implement corrective action when necessary.\nLocation: Bel Air, Harford County\nPay: $48,000 annually\nKey Responsibilities: \nThe PM is responsible for programmatic and operational management of services that will enable individuals to reach their fullest potential. This person holds a leadership role, building effective teams through developmental supervision and championing internal and external partnerships. Below outlines key aspects of the roles and responsibilities this position holds: \nRelationships and Communication: \nCultivate a positive and productive workplace atmosphere to enhance team morale and productivity. \nCreates positive relationships with all internal and external stakeholders including employees, peers, local and state agencies as well as parents and guardians \nEnsures all communication is timely and occurs in a manner that is professional, clear and concise \nBuilds trust, mutual respect and cohesion around shared mission \nProgram Management: \nChampions an environment in which supported individuals have choices, are treated with respect and dignity and actively engaged in their community \nProvides ongoing developmental supervision according to agency expectations ensuring employees are meeting programmatic requirements \nCreates a supportive environment in which to retain quality employees and providers \nEnsures adherence to organization-wide policies and procedures and state and federal regulations, meeting licensing and certification standards \nProvides fiscal oversight of the program(s) under the guidance and leadership of the Program Director, this includes managing cash on hand, pex, receipts, etc. \nCoordinates services to provide medical, psychiatric and social-emotional needs of the supported individuals \nProvides programmatic oversight regarding required record keeping and program and vehicle safety. \n Leadership and Coordination: \nFosters an environment where the dignity, decisions and rights of the individuals are valued. \nFoster a positive work environment while championing a culture of teamwork, growth, collaboration and communication. \nCoordinate with and provides support to other departments such as Quality Assurance/Quality Enhancement, nursing, clinical and other administrative departments. \nProvide leadership and guidance to the day-to-day operations of the shift including but limited to data collection and documentation, ISP/IEP goals, community inclusion activities, aids to daily living. \nParticipate in and complete training sessions as delegated by management to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role. \nAdministrative Responsibilities: \nOversee administrative tasks to ensure compliance including completion of employee performance appraisals, maintaining schedules for effective programming, etc. \nEnsure that all employees have received the necessary regulatory training and guidance to best support the individuals served. \nPerform any additional job responsibilities assigned by supervisors or team leaders to support the organization's smooth operation. \nConduct training as required and assigned. \nAccept reassignment as required \nOur ideal candidate:\nBachelor’s Degree in Human Services or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education & experience required.\nExperience providing support to individuals with disabilities and challenging behaviors.\nExcellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.\nPrevious supervisory experience strongly preferred.\nBasic Computer skills, experience using Therap a plus!\nHigh School Diploma or GED required.\nEmpathy, enthusiasm, and a passion and dedication for helping others.\nIn some locations, a valid US driver’s license, vehicle, and auto insurance may be required, with at least 3 years of driving experience.
